This Hobart HCM Chopper/Cutter/Mixer came from a cooking school located in North Florida. When we went to pick this chopper/cutter/mixer up we had the oppurtunity to speak with the head chef and he said this hcm chopper/cutter/mixer was only used 20 times and was used for a back up to another hcm that they had. Then it was put in a air conditioned warehouse and that is where it has spent all of its life. This unit is in excellent condition! YOU CAN NOT GET A NICER MACHINE UNLESS YOU BUY BRAND NEW FROM HOBART. The head chef and class instructor also mentioned they thought the school payed approx. $12.000.00- $13,000.00 for this hcm chopper/cutter/mixer. When we picked this chopper up we noticed some scratches in the tank and the instructor told us a student left a 1/4 ounce measuring spoon inside the tank and turned the chopper on. So that is how the scratches got there and also the metal s-blades had some nicks on the blades on them so the school ordered 2 brand blades and had them installed. Nothing to affect the operation of this unit in any way shape or form. This HCM was only used to chop vegetables. And lettuce for the school. This hcm HAS NEVER SE

Up for sale is a Hobart HCM 45 QT. S-blade( Stainless Steel) in excellent condtion. This S-blade fits the older generation of HCM's the ones with the red safety switch on top of the handle. It will not fit the newer generations of the HCM's. These are becoming very rare and very hard to find. This would be perfect for anybody that has the red top HCM so they may have a backup blade.
