It is older but still in great condition for its age. It has only had 1 owner its whole life and they have never had any problems with it. It has been tested and is fully functional. It will come with the 2 attachments and 5qt bowl you see in the photos. This nice Hobart has only had 1 owner and was purchased new by her many years ago. She used it in her little cookie shop. She has taken pretty good care of it and has never had any problems with it. It does show some signs of use. But don't let that fool you, there is nothing wrong with it and it works great. All 3 speeds work as they should with no problems. I know some of these you can change the speed while its running, but this one you can not. You have to pick the speed you want before turning it on. The lever to raise the bowl works nice and smooth also. I don't know what the maintance is on these mixers. What that it involves, but since I don't know the maintance history on this machine I would recommend getting it checked or lubed even though it works just fine. Note: before changing speeds you must let machine come to a stop! This auction comes with what is shown. And nothing else. Mixing unit. Two bowls, wire wisk, mixing paddle, and a VERY rare slicing attachment for vegetables. The wooden veggie pusher is there as well. This particular attachment is very rare because you just don't find many of them and they can be broken if not installed properly. There ARE different shredder blades available for this unit, but only the slicer blade is included here. The machine works. As stated, BUT the cord needs a bit of work to be completely failsafe. During testing, there was no interruption in power, so maybe just a little more ... moretape is good enough for you. If you couldn't see it in the pictures, I wanted to at least point it out here. Overall. The unit is pretty clean with just some dirt and grime here and there in some of the smaller crevices. There are a few tiny nicks in the paint as well. I do not see any rust.
