THE BODY AND THE LEGS OF THIS MIXER ARE MADE OF 1/4" SOLID STEEL FOR A LIFETIME MIXER DURABILITY. 1-1/4 hp EXTREMELY HEAVY DUTY MOTOR! Please see picture's of us using a yellow tape measure to show some scratches on the paint. These are from the school's maintenance tech's moving the mixer around. These will NOT affect the operation of the mixer in anyway! This 30 QT. mixer came from a cooking school located here in Florida that just recentley closed due to the bad economic times that we are in today. This mixer was NEVER USED COMMERCIALLY it was only used to teach students the art of baking and preparing food and prep of foods. It is very unfortunate that schools like this close. But the times we are in now in Florida is a whole new adventure as florida has not seen times like this and many other cooking schools are closing down just like this due to the times and school funds.
