Themac J40 Toolpost Grinder from a South Bend 13x40 Lathe
Themac J40 Toolpost Grinder Model no. 2429. I have installed new permanent lubricated Bearings. Brushes very recently installed and are in good shape. I put a new plug on the cord. Switch and cord in great shape. Up and running great. All the pullies and guard are there plus a couple of grinding stones. But in truth I haven't used the stones, just ones I found in the shop. The belt I have for it are sweeper belts. I have used them before I rebuilt it, but I think it should really have the Themac belts for it to be at its best. I built a nice box for it some time ago and kept it in nice shape. I don't have the manual for it, however the specs and instructions for it are listed in the Themac Catalog available on their web site.
