$105.00 Shipping Condition: Used Location: Canada I am selling my Unimat DB200 desktop lathe. I have recently moved up to a slightly larger lathe so this one is now extra. The footprint is approximately ... more9" x 17" There are specs on the lathe here: I have used it occasionally for the past 20ish years making model train parts. It has served me well. You can see how clean it is. I have never used any cutting oils on it so it is not an oily mess. I literally used it in my spare bedroom for many years. Since I have a workshop now I have room to have a larger lathe set up permanently. Note the many parts and accessories that are included. T here is a brand new carbide lathe cutter bit included. It still has the wax on the tip. The post and geared handle make it convertible to a desktop milling machine are included. There are also some parts included to cut threads. I have never done it and do NOT know if all needed parts are present to cut threads. If you want to use it to cut threads you are on your own for that. There is an extra tailstock. 3 jaw chuck and a non-centering 4 jaw chuck. I am not sure what some of the items are for even after over 20 years so I surely don't need them now! There are parts for the Unimats on eBay- pretty much whatever you want including belts can be bought. Take a good look at the photos. What you see is what you get. Nothing more and nothing less. 4-16-13 Update- It was brought to my attention that a left side bracket was not shown in the original photos. I have found the bracket. 2 new photos were just added as well. With all these parts it is ready to work! This is possibly a 40+ year old machine. It is AS IS WHERE IS. It is in good shape.I removed the belts, new ones will provide better performance. The motor, runs very smoothly, quiet operation, that is cleaned and ready to ship, in a lined wood box and protected from dust or water, fully functional. I used it to make parts for my antique clocks, This is a nice little machine.very well maintained.

Original Modified 3-Jaw Chuck Unimat DB 200 - SL 1000 Lathe Mill Drill U19
For your consideration is an Original But MODIFIED Unimat 3-Jaw Chuck for Lathes DB 200- SL 1000: This is an original Unimat 3-Jaw Chuck. It will fit most older Unimat DB 200 and SL 1000 with a 12 mm/1 mm shaft. This item has been modified by cutting the outside step of each jaw. In order to accommodate a larger opening of the chuck without interfering with the base. The cutting was done well. The result is satisfying as you can handle larger pieces. It comes to the price of not catching the smaller pieces as well. The minimum size that this chuck handles is probably about 1/4" While it can accommodate probably about 1" without the jaws touching the bed. This modification allows for larger sizes without using a raiser. But limits the use for the smaller sizes. If the chuck is tightened to full close. Which it will do, the release ... moreis tricky as the grooves cannot easily catch the jaws for release. I used this chuck many times and grumbled at it a few times when I tightened it too far. It was however very useful most of the time. There is no rust! What you see on the enlarged pictures is the glare of lubricating oil. Dimensions: Diameter 58mm(2.3" Fits 12mm/1mm Spindle. The little torque bars are probably not original and you might want to get or make something longer and stronger. I personally use small quality punches. The side pictures are not duplicates. You are bidding on a Unimat DB-200 Lathe that I acquired at an Estate Sale. I know nothing about this item but I'll tell you what I can. All parts turn fine except the front feeder wheel turns a little difficult. I plugged it in and it seems to run fine, also the rubber belt shows cracking. It is in it's Original Unimat Box and also includes the Original Unimat Manual. The bottom of the box is a little weak so I added a thin piece of plywood so it remains firmly intact for shipping. I will bolt the lathe into the box and I am going to take the motor off for shipping so there isn't as much weight in the wooden box. Due to my lack of knowledge, I took a lot of pictures and hopefully they will answer most of your questions, but if you have questions, feel free to ask and I will try my best to answer them for you. Cleaning out the shop and the cobwebs out of my mind. My loss your gain. This is a very nice very slightly used Unimat lathe/mill/drilling machine. It looks like it has only been used a couple of times, paint looks like original and everything is very snug, could say it is almost new. small metal lathe unimat uni mat DB-200 Watch makers lathe
I got this little lathe from an estate sale. This had the cord cut badly so i cut it off and stripped the wire and plugged it into an extention cord to test the motor and it ran very smooth and quiet. the metal is rusted up from sitting however with i little wd-40 i got the threaded parts to move and make sure they were not completely frozen. they will need a wire brush or steel wool to clean them up and make them turn smooth the chuck also is operational. I opened and closed it for a function test. there is a small pulley that needs a little bolt thru the split frame to tighten it into place. loks like about a 3/16 x 1 1/2 inch bolt from ace hardware will take care of that. I have the broken belt so you can use it to get the size for replacement belts. there are no other parts other than what you see so please look pics over and ask if you ... moreneed any additional photos. also please ask if you have any questions. i am going to post this as parts not working due too the few things it needs before it can be used again. this is a very heavy well built little tool that can be fixed up and put back into service with a little effort Thankyou for looking

Unimat cast iron tailstock for DB 200 (or SL1000)
I bought this off eBay thinking it was the Zamak alloy(seller didn't say and I didn't know the difference in base shape) for my yard sale Zamak machine. Since then I bought the proper Zamak tailstock so this one is now available. It was dis-assembled. Cleaned, oiled, re-assembled and I made a new set screw that aligns the base with the top since that was missing. This one is ready for use. The paint is in pretty good shape. I kind of wish that my machine was the iron variety because I like the heavy feel of the this tailstock, but, I don't need two. I'll ship to Canada, and the U.S.A. as reasonably as I can mail it via Canada Post.
