Pellet Silo, Plastic Beads, Grain Hopper Bin (Three Bins Total)
I have a great deal for some one looking for Pellet Silos or store what you want in them. They are cone bottom bins. There are three bins total only two are in my pictures, but all three go with the listing. There is catwalk and top rails that go between bins. The silos were made to be set in a triangle with two catwalks going off of the silo with the side latter. They have side entry doors. All the bottom gates and magnets that pellets flow through are there. All the bins have Bindicator sensors. Just the sensors are worth $5000 Each bin is 1710 cu ft. 12' Dia. and 24' tall The Silos are in great shape. They were built in 2003 used for 4 years. The paint is like new. Ertl Cylindrical Corrugated Metal Plastic Grain Bins for O, S, HO
Grain bins- round. Cylindrical, currugated steel bins- are everywhere in rural, farm country. You can't drive more than a mile or two down a country road and not see at least one. And not just farmers use them. Grain elevator operators use them too, in both large and small sizes. Feed and seed dealers are users too, as is any business with a need to store a bulk commodity such as grain, corn, seed or feed out of the weather. If you have a farm scene on your model railroad layout. You should have a few of these grain bins around the hay barn, the chicken house, the cow barn, or the pig shed. Or, if you have a grain elevator on a siding, cluster a bunch of these grain bins around it for supplemental grain storage. These grain bins are by Ertl. The die cast metal toy car and truck manufacturer. These bins, however, are hard plastic, yet ... morethey still incorporate all the excellent detail Etrl puts into its fine motor vehicle models. The plastic is colored gray, the color of galvanized steel, but can be repainted in any color and lettered with a seed or feed brand name, a dealer's name or a farm's name for enhanced authenticity. These bins are S scale. But they can be used quite successfully in HO and O scales just as well, and many O scale modelers do just that, combining them in realistic busy, detailed, interesting scenes with Lionel's grain elevator or Walther's feed mill models, for example. Ertl made the bins in two sizes- a small and a large. The large bin is 6 inches in diameter and 6-1/4 inches tall without its cylindrical top. 8-1/2 inches with its top. The small bin is 4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches tall without its top, 3-3/4 inches with its top. This auction is for 3 of the small bins. You get 3 cylinders. 3 bases and 3 tops. T he bins are modular in the sense you can use them individually or pile one on top of the other to make a taller bin. Or even a silo if you stack them three high.
