Primitive Clipper SEED AND GRAIN CLEANER TOP FEED BOX,GOOD CONDITION
You are bidding on the Top Box of a Vintage Clipper Fanning Mill manufactured by the A.T. Ferrell& Co. The clipper cleaner was used as a big capacity grain. Seed, and bean cleaner. It was designed for the fast cleaning for market or storage or treating your own seeds. I purchased this last week at an estate sale. The top feed box was the only item at the sale. I have not attempted to clean it up. The paint and printing is faded some. But still clearly visible. It is in solid shape with only one minor defect.the wooden rail that keeps the slider in place is nearly gone. It would be nothing to put a thin strip of wood back in. Other than that it functions perfectly and you can adjust how wide of an opening you want. I found a vintage advertisement for this machine listed on eBay that was from 1952, so this actual item could be a few years ... moreolder or newer. Dimensions: 25 1/2" long x 19 1/2" wide x 9" deep. This top feeder box is perfect if you need it to finish a restore project or it could be a really cool stand alone antique item for the primitive décor or outside landscape feature. Here is a nice Hinson 812 auger cart that is in good shape. I would guess the aprox capacity to be 350-450 bushel but it could hold a little bit more or less I am not really sure. The auger is manual fold. The tires on this cart are in good shape. This cart has a roll tarp on it it does have a couple holes in it but it is still useable. This is a nice cart and runs just fine we used it the last 2 falls and it has worked well. I can load this on anything you bring over and loading is FREE.
