These 4 pieces was cut from cedar fence post that are around 70 years old. Would be great for a rustic table. They are 20" long. Thickness look at pictures. I tried to remove all metal. Before you start to work on them make sure there is no metal. They will have some fresh cuts on them. I used a wire brush to remove most of the loose stuff on weathered sides.

Western wood pecker natural split rail wood fence post
This fence post with Wood Pecker holes once held live oak acorns. The fence post is irregular and is 77 and 1/2 inches by 3 and 1/2 inches by 3 and 1/2 inches. All four sides have Wood Pecker holes. The wood pecker would come back for the insects at a later date to feast. The split rail fence post is cedar or red wood. Hand split in the early part of the 20th century. Until September 1, 2014 it hung off the ground next the replacement metal post. The cattle ranch it came from is in the foothills of central California east of Terra Bella, Ca. These old pieces are not only unique but it's a rarity that I get them. These beautiful pieces are tongue and groove so they can snap together as you can see in the main picture. In addition. Kentucky Amish kiln dry the wood to eliminate moisture and insects. The six pieces measure approximately: 3/4" thickness and 5" wide. Individual board lengths are approximately 11" 14" 20" 25.5" and two boards are 30" long. This rare reclaimed fence post oak is perfect for projects where a one-of-kind look is desired. One has a repair in the corner looks like it broke off and was reattached otherwise they are undamaged. Black Electric Fence Insulator - Wood Post - Dare # 2930 (Quantity 200)
Insulators were originally installed for cattle but were removed after only 2 years to provide for horse fencing. The insulators have a manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. The only thing wrong with these insulators are some minor scratches(if any) and some dust. All are fully functional and were inspected before packaging. They are boxed loose.
