The engine rebuild cost was close to ... more$22.000.00 after all was said and done. I had a komatsu mechanic do the rebuild of the engine. I overseen the ordering of parts to make sure they were original. I paid cash for the rebuild. This dozer has approximately 40 hrs. on the engine since rebuild. Everything works on machine. The machine was recently inspected by Komatsu Dealer Linder out of NC. They reported everything is in good condition: two rollers are worn& could be replaced but does not affect the machines ability to perform. Are you kidding me? This is a great machine and their inspection of the entire machine was 2 worn rollers. The cost of rollers per the inspector is $150 each. This lets you know I took care of the machine. Listen if you paid out of your pocket $22.000. in cash, you would take good care of this machine too. This machine is ready to go to work. Engine has 10 hrs on oil change,trany have 250 hrs on oil change, the finals have 300 hrs on oil change and the right final had new bearings and seals in it as well 300 hrs ago along with both steering clutches have new steel plates and one inner drum installed at that time. The rails have a link taken out of them but will run along time. The center pivot in new as well. The batteries are 2 yrs old and it will start below zero temp. Does not smoke. 2000 Komatsu D-38E-1 dozer with 6 way blade 4bt cummins power Nice machine
Up for sale is a clean 2000 Komatsu D-38E-1 dozer. This is a nice clean unit overall in its original paint. It has the Cummins 4BT 85hp turbocharged diesel in it which runs great. Behind that is a torque converter with a 3 speed power shift transmission that pull strong in all 3 gears. It has a single joystick steering control and another single joystick for the six way blade. The blade is in good shape. Not bent or dented. All pins are good with little play. The undercarriage is at 80% or better with excellent pads and sprockets. The hour meter shows 1500 hours on it. I have run this machine personally and it runs out great. I have spent allot of time on these type of machines and they are very proven. For those of you that don't know this machine was built by the International Dresser company, now called Dressta. This machine is the ... moresame machine as the TD-8H Dresser with the exception of the steering controls and the different color and Komatsu badges. These machines are built well and have a proven setup that is still being used today. They are simple to work on and have no computer for a simple reliable machine. Komatsu D20A-5 Dozer for sale with six way blade. This dozer has a four cylinder diesel engine that is around 40 to 45hp and it is a Clutch machine not a hydrostatic machine. The dozer is a mid 1980's model. I have owned this dozer for a couple years and have put a bunch of new parts and about 50 or so hours on it. When I bought the machine it received new track chains, sprockets, main drive clutch, both sets of steering clutches, all new gauges, New filters/fluids and very nice LED lights. This dozer came from the factory with the full roll cage it is not some hack job that some one made out of steel they had laying around. When I bought the dozer the hour meter worked and read 1659, after pressure washing the dozer the gauge quit working. The hour meter reading is the hours on all the new parts. The total hours is 1659 plus the meter ... morereading. The only thing wrong with the dozer is that 4 of the 5 cylinders leak oil when it is parked. there are no known engine or transmission leaks. This is a great little small dozer that weights under 10k pounds. If you are looking for a big dozer that will move mountains don't look at this one. 1995 Komatsu D41P-6- 6cyl 110 hp- near new chains and sprockets with just recently installed pins and bushings in chains- joystick steer- 7150 hrs- starts right up and steers and tracks great- no major leaks and actually several of the cylinders were repacked- blade has been welded ball. You are bidding on a Komatsu D10S Crawler Loader. It is powered by a 2cyl 20HP Liquid Cooled Komatsu Diesel Engine. It starts easily and runs great. It also has glow plugs for cold weather starts. This machine is about 35 00lbs so it is a pretty good sized machine that will do quite a bit of work but still easy to transport and get into tight places with. Very easy to haul with a small truck and trailer. It has steel tracks. It has a standard transmission with 2 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. Komatsu D21P-6 Crawler Dozer
This is a Komatsu D21P-6 Crawler Dozer S/N: 71260. It has a 6-way blade and pyramid tracks. I believe the dozer to be a 1994 model. But I have provided the Serial Number if you have a way of verifying that. It is has a 40 hp Komatsu engine and the dozer weighs just shy of 9000 lbs, so it can be trailered without a low-boy. I purchased this dozer about 4 years ago for use on my farm while building several cross-fences through lightly wooded areas. I used the little dozer to clear that brush and small trees, spread dirt, build a road into my property, etc. I have put a little over 200 hours on the dozer since I purchased it. I do not know what the orginal hours were because the hour meter had been replaced prior to me buying it. The dozer does smoke a good bit when you first start it up, but clears up and runs great after she warms up good. ... moreThe dozer doesn't use much oil at all. I check it everytime I use it, but only have to add a few ounces every fourth or fifth use. It would be a great little dozer for someone who needs to do the kind of work I have done on a farm, spread dirt, or even clear hunting trails. The dozer does have some wear in the six way blade bushings, but it works great. As far as the tracks, I am not an expert at rating them but they should have plenty of life left. I am NOT a dealer or a buyer and seller of equipment. I have changed the filters and fluids about every 100 hours. This is a machine I have used personally on my farm and I don't have any continued use for it. I believe that if taken care of, this dozer should last a very long time if used properly. That being said, it is a used dozer and I cannot forsee any possible future mechanical failures. In other words, I have to sell it as is and where is with no waranties or guarntees implied or expressed.
