'92 Caterpillar D4 C Bulldozer
1991 Cat D4C Dozer 5414 hrs Engine runs strong and uses very little oil Clutches and transmission strong Six way blade(a little play) AC inoperable EROPS- All glass good The undercarriage needs new rails and sprockets. It still pushes but when you put it on a certain grade I noticed it wanting to slip cog a little. I have owned this machine for five years and it has served me well. I am downsizing my business and no longer need this unit. This is a used dozer and is not perfect. As with any used machine. There may be defects that I don't know about. I have tried to do the best I can to accurately describe this unit. The unit is available for inspection upon appointment.

I have this cat D4 Dozer I purchased about a year ago but it is too small to clear my land with low stumps I haven't used it very little so I don't know much except it runs and drives good for me. the hood is not shown in the pictures it was not on it when I bought it but I do have it. I think it is about a1959 model local pickup only I cannot haul or ship. approx. weight is 15k lbs I have been told the undercarriage is 85% however I am not a dozer expert and don't even know how to tell for my self.

Up for sale is a 1953 Cat D4 crawler tractor with an HT4 hydraulic shovel. The big bore diesel starts from the pony motor. And the gas powered pony motor has an electric starter. No need to worry about running a battery dead in cold weather trying to start a cold diesel. Everything is in proper working order. The hydraulics on the machine are very strong. This machine doesn't have a blade. Like a traditional D4, instead, it has a large bucket with hydraulic controls. No cables! I purchased it to work on my existing road and build a new access point for more buildings. The previous owner used it to dig out basements for new construction housing. If you have any questions. I am not a dozer mechanic but I believe this machine is in very good condition. I don't know how to tell what percentage the undercarriage is but it steers great. it always starts And has a lot of power. we did a full fluid and filter change and cleaning on it and painted it up a little. I added a picture of the 25 ft deep pond I dug this fall in two days with it. I used it for that and my driveway and to push some stumps and level some dirt around my home and am all done with it. Rear end was disassembled to repair a crack on the left rear clutch housing and it was not put back together after the repair was completed. Has been in the shop since the project began. Good compression in the pony motor. Bull gears. Clutch, draw bar, blade and track are all in good shape. Tripod is included but not in the photographs. Manuals included too.
