John Deere 450 D dozer with winch
Oops! Thought it was sold. Customer financing fell through, here we go again. John Deere dozer for sale, 450D model, 1984 model year by serial guide book. Has forestry package with winch. Runs very good, recent engine work. Has a light smoke cold but mostly clears. Has very good power and will spin the tracks in a pile evenly. Starts pretty decent in the cold, was 10 degrees this morning and fired up. Tracks fair. Useable as is but to be perfect would need chains and sprockets. Runs and drives good the way it is though, bushings not worn through. Pads have had some corking done and provide decent traction. Steers very easy and shifts great. 4 speed trans with high, low and reverse power shuttle shift. Winch may need a control cable, unit worked fine last week but cable at upper side is out of mount now. this is the cable that engages winch, ... morenot the main cable, it is ok. 1975 JOHN DERRE 450C BULLDOZER. This machine is ready to work. We bought this dozer in 2010 to do some grading and ditch work on our property. We have only used this machine on onsite to do light dozer work. We found that we are not using it since the ditch work is done so it is time to sell it. We have replaced most of the hydraulic lines on this machine including the main pressure line from the pump. It has been maintained with oil changes and filters. The track is in excellent condition and has been kept in adjustment. The 6 way blade has some play in the pivot but works fine. We have the operators and technical manuals. When i purchased this machine the injection pump had a seal leaking fuel into oil pan and we spun a bearing. So had a new D219 block purchased and completely rebuilt dozer with the following,new fuel pump,and filters,new chain track,and hdw. new track idlers,tach cable,throttle cable,rebuilt injection pump,and new injectors,oil pump and gaskets,water pump,clutch,throwout bearing,pressure plate,new radiator and hoses,thermostat,engine oil hoses, frame bushings repainted and new labels.As you can see alot of time and money has want into dozer. Blade has some play in it.Frame was cracked and replted and welded.

You are looking at a nice John Deere 450 crawler loader with a 4 in 1 bucket and backhoe. This machine will do it all. It was a one owner machine. It is in very good condition for a crawler of its age. The backhoe slides from side to side in the rear for getting close to things. It has a drott 4 in 1 bucket. The backhoe pins are tight as well as the loader pins. It starts and runs good. It has no major leaks. The hour meter shows almost 1000 hours. The original owner said he replace the old meter at 1200. So as I was told it should have around 2200 hours on it. As you can see in the pics.The rear sprockets are in very good condition. For sale a John Deere 450 crawler loader with backhoe attachment. The crawler loader starts and runs perfect. Both loader and backhoe are fully functional It just had new fuel filters installed the injector lines were replaced and has 6 new hydraulic hoses I am selling this because I no longer need it. Its ready to move some dirt! Doesn't leak anywhere It has new hydraulic oil It was never abused while in our possession. When it is not used it's stored in our barn New battery. JD 450 crawler with a four in one bucket and a backhoe. The backhoe also comes off and I have rear weights that go with it. The right clutch needs adjustment as it will not turn right. Tracks need to be tensioned. Grease fittings need replaced. Buckets need new teeth. Starts and runs great. right armrest need redone. You can see in the video. only has a couple of hundred hours on it since it was gone through. Sprockets and rollers are good. Can take more pictures and e-mail them if requrested. This John Deere Crawler has a 6-Way blade. It is the John Deere 450 B model. The exact year it was made is sometime back in the 1940's. I believe. It recently had work done on the undercarriage and is in good running condition. It has 4 cylinders and is a diesel engine. The undercarriage is 85% with 65% on the Sprockets. You are looking at a John Deere 450CC crawler dozer. The machine has a diesel engine that starts and runs good as well as the shuttle shift transmission. The tracks on this tractor are in good condition. The grouser pads have been re done as well. The brakes and steering work great. This tractor has been on a small farm for the last 20 years. The previous owner always soaked the tracks in motor oil for storage. The pins and bushings are tight also. I put 20 hours on this dozer the last few days and it works good. It does not smoke or leak oil. Just a nice dozer for a farm or small contractor. The previous owner said he thought it was a 1980 model. I can help with shipping.
