Oops! Thought it was sold. Customer financing fell through, here we go again. John Deere dozer for sale, 450D model, 1984 model year by serial guide book. Has forestry package with winch. Runs very good, recent engine work. Has a light smoke cold but mostly clears. Has very good power and will spin the tracks in a pile evenly. Starts pretty decent in the cold, was 10 degrees this morning and fired up. Tracks fair. Useable as is but to be perfect would need chains and sprockets. Runs and drives good the way it is though, bushings not worn through. Pads have had some corking done and provide decent traction. Steers very easy and shifts great. 4 speed trans with high, low and reverse power shuttle shift. 1975 JOHN DEERE 450 C BULLDOZER 6 WAY BLADE
1975 JOHN DERRE 450C BULLDOZER. This machine is ready to work. We bought this dozer in 2010 to do some grading and ditch work on our property. We have only used this machine on onsite to do light dozer work. We found that we are not using it since the ditch work is done so it is time to sell it. We have replaced most of the hydraulic lines on this machine including the main pressure line from the pump. It has been maintained with oil changes and filters. The track is in excellent condition and has been kept in adjustment. The 6 way blade has some play in the pivot but works fine. We have the operators and technical manuals. Case 450 Track loader/dozer.Needs engine repair.
Greetings.Alright here is a deal for somebody.I bought this sight unseen and had it delivered.It was supposed to run but smoke.That was a few years ago I guess because the engine is rusted tight now.Pulled the head and the original problem was it had two bent pushrods.Now the engine block,head and crank are useable for rebuilding.Injectors,cylinders and pistons are junk.Had a guy that works at a case equiptment repair facility come down and evaluate the machine.He said that besides some easy to replace hydraulic hoses and adjusting the tracks it was in pretty good shape as far as he could tell with it not running.He also said that he thinks it is a 188d engine and that it looked like a mid 80's machine.He placed the value of it between 8 and $10,000 if it was running.Now with that said I know nothing about these and I'm telling you ... morewhat I was told and it is being sold as-is.Reserve is set at what I have into it and maybe somebody that knows more than me can benefit from it.From what I hear it weighs about 9000 lbs.and it rolled right off the shippers trailer so it should be easy to winch right up on yours.$300 deposit at auctions end through paypal the rest in cash within a week.Thanks for looking!

Case 450 dozer with six way blade. Has ROPS with limb risers and a pto. This one has the parking brake. Needs a replacement engine.Case 188D or Case 207D. It has a Case 188 diesel in it that failed. The current engine is partially disassembled and a rod came through the block. Undercarriage is 90%rollers. Pins, pads, sprockets are in great shape. Bought recently to install an engine but don’t have the muscle or help to get it done soon. This was a working dozer prior to the engine failing. So had a new D219 block purchased and completely rebuilt dozer with the following,new fuel pump,and filters,new chain track,and hdw. new track idlers,tach cable,throttle cable,rebuilt injection pump,and new injectors,oil pump and gaskets,water pump,clutch,throwout bearing,pressure plate,new radiator and hoses,thermostat,engine oil hoses, frame bushings repainted and new labels.As you can see alot of time and money has want into dozer. JD 450 crawler with a four in one bucket and a backhoe. The backhoe also comes off and I have rear weights that go with it. The right clutch needs adjustment as it will not turn right. Tracks need to be tensioned. Grease fittings need replaced. Buckets need new teeth. Starts and runs great. right armrest need redone. Pair of Case 450 Track Loaders 72 & 73 Both run with a ton of spare parts
This is a auction for 2 Case 450's one is a 72 the other is a 73 I am auctioning them off AS-IS. You are bidding on 2 machines that are over 40yrs old and are AS-IS. I am no expert. I will list these to the best of my ability I have had a few of these machines over the years and I know them quite well, but by no means am I a expert. Ok, with that taken care here goes the listing. The first 4 pics are of the 73. I bought it a few months back as a package deal one running and one that the engine was apart with a cracked block. It was cracked inbetween the sleeves typical for a case 188. I took the running engine out and put it in the better of the two. I put it on a job and it keep blowing antifreeze out of the radiator also noticed oil in it. Brought it back to the shop and pulled the head, blown head gasket and the head was shot, no cracks ... morein the block and everything else looked good. Also the trans cooler in the radiator was shot. Put the good used head from the other engine on it and it has been running good. It is loud, does not have the right muffler on it. It has a 450b torque converter in it. The tracks are in good shape the pins and bushing have been turned, sprockets look good as do the rollers and front idlers. New seals in one track adjuster. Has Rops. Full skid plates. Seat is fro something else but it works. One wire alt. some of the cylinders have leaks, nothing major. I think that covers that one. The 2nd set of pictures is the 72. I saved that from the scrap pile 5yrs ago. It ran but it blew more oil out of the exhaust then it held. I Completely rebuilt the engine. Crank needed to be turned, new sleeves, new pistons, head was rebuilt, new valves, seals, seats, springs. That has the Cab Co rops, full skid plates. Has a thrid valve for a 4in1 bucket(not on it but I do have one that needs work that is included, there is a Pic) Bucket has new Cat style teeth. Fairly new used tracks very little wear(almost new) Sprocket are good used takeoffs. Front rollers are also good used takeoffs. Bottom roll

This Auction is for a 1972 Case 450 Track Loader it is over 40 yrs old and is being auctioned off used and AS-IS. Please if you dont know what AS-IS means look it up. I describe everything to the best of my ability I am by no means a expert or claim to be a expert. I will be listing this with 100% honesty. 1972 Case 450 Track loader I have owned and operated it for the last 5yrs in my small Land clearing business to haul stumps. Brush, etc, after being grubbed with the hoe. As you can see it is dirty did not have a chance to pressure wash it when it came back from the last job we used it on, the last 4 pics are of it clean at a earlier date. I rebuilt the engine when I first bought it, head completely redone new valves, springs, seats, seals the works, crank was turned, new pistons, sleeves, the works. It does have the Cab-Co ROPS. Seat is ... morefine just needs the arm rests. All the gages work except the hour meter. Could use some new hydro lines, I use them till they need to be replaced, the 2 lines for the 3rd valve are broke that is what the oil is on the loader arms. The hydro cylinders are all good a couple are damp, they are a easy fix and a cheap fix. Torque converter is good. Hydro pump is good. Just replaced the tracks with used tracks with little to no wear, good used sprockets and front rollers. It has a GP bucket with cat style teeth, also come with a 4-1 bucket that needs work. Comes with a spare rear complete with final drives. I have various hard lines, spare cylinders, misc spare parts that will go with it. These are nice easy to run machines for clearing. Excavating, would make a very good farm machine or a large land homeowner. Cheap to maintain, easy on fuel. Parts are very easy to get. this is the 2nd one that I have used in my business, I have a 73 that I am also listing. I hauled it with a dually and a 9 ton trailer with no problems.
