John Deere 440 Crawler Loader Backhoe Dozer Bulldozer NO RESERVE PRICE!
Elk Forest Farms. Inc. has a used John Deere 440 crawler loader backhoe up for auction. I am unsure of the exact year of the machine. The machine is powered by a 2-cylinder GM 2-cycle diesel engine. The engine starts with starting fluid and runs strong. The transmission has 4 speeds forward and one speed reverve. All gears seem to work well as does the engine clutch. The machine steers both ways. The backhoe has some patching and welding done to it as the pictures show. We sandblasted it and repainted it with factory JD enamels. We put a brand new seat on it. The machine is an older machine however it is slow and steady. The backhoe attachment can be removed from the machine quite easily and reinstalled when needed. Elk Forest Farms. Inc. has a used Caterpillar D3B crawler dozer up for sale. The machine is powered by a 4-cylinder Caterpillar diesel engine. The engine starts easy and runs strong. The oil pressure needle stays high in the green area of the guage which is good. The transmisssion is a powershift with 3 speeds forward and 3 speeds reverse. All gears work well and have no signs of slipping or hesitations. Both foot steering pedals work well both ways. I believe the left side clutch is a little sticky due to not being used because you have to press a little harder on that side for the machine to steer. The right side steering clutch pedal you just touch it and it steers. The machine has an open ROPS. This machine came from a local paving contractor that updated his equipment. You are looking at a nice John Deere 450 crawler loader with a 4 in 1 bucket and backhoe. This machine will do it all. It was a one owner machine. It is in very good condition for a crawler of its age. The backhoe slides from side to side in the rear for getting close to things. It has a drott 4 in 1 bucket. The backhoe pins are tight as well as the loader pins. It starts and runs good. It has no major leaks. The hour meter shows almost 1000 hours. The original owner said he replace the old meter at 1200. So as I was told it should have around 2200 hours on it. As you can see in the pics.The rear sprockets are in very good condition. Friends, Here is a neat little(mid-sized) loader with a backhoe Komatsu D-30S I drove it one time helping my neighbor dig a trench for a dam pipe and it ran great. At the end of the job I was about to drive it back to my farm and he noticed a hose's leaking oil. Thinking it was a hydraulic leak I drove it on home. It got hot and seized-it had been an engine oil line. I priced a rebuild at $1200 labor plus parts. It's a small Komatsu engine. I'd also replace hydraulic hoses. It will make somebody an ideal landscaping loader. It could also dig for septic tanks or around foundations. The backhoe moves side to side hydraulically so you could work right next to a house's foundation and dig out easily. Sacrificing. No time or monies to fix it. Allis Chalmer H3 Crawler/Loader w/ rare 1400 Backhoe S/N Prior to 6959
This was a future restoration project. But I have too many pans in the fire right now. I was told from the previous owner it runs OK. I haven't even had time to try to get it going. The thermostat housing near valve cover is shattered and needs the thermostat. The valve cover it self is dented a bit. The previous owner dropped something on top of it. Tracks have rusted holes in areas, but treads are not worn. Hydraulics probably need a good work over. Rust throughout as seen on photo's. The 1400 Backhoe appears to be rare. I have all the shop repair manuals. Selling as is.

John Deere 350B Crawler Loader Backhoe Dozer Bulldozer NO RESERVE PRICE!
Elk Forest Farms. Inc. is pleased to offer a used John Deere 350B crawler loader backhoe up for sale. I am unsure of the exact year. The SN is listed above. We bought the machine from a local summer camp here with a bad engine 3 years ago. Over the past three years we had worked on the machine a little at a time. We rebuilt the engine with new sleeves, pistons, bearings, refurbished head, new gaskets, rebuilt starter, new injectors, filters, etc. We put the engine in and found out the steering needed work so we replaced the steering clutches with new fiber plates, steel plates, and new brake bands. We also had put a new set of chain rails on the machine at this time too. The 3-cyl. John Deere diesel engine starts very easy and runs out well. The transmission works great. The machine steers excellent both ways. It pushes and works great. The ... moremachine is equipped with the front 4-in-1 loader bucket. It is pretty handy if you want to grab brush, trees, rocks, etc. The backhoe is a quick attach and can be removed in 5 minutes and can be reattached in approx. 15 minutes. I then steamwashed the machine and had it repainted. We put new decals and and brand new seat with armrests on the machine. I have a ton of money and time in this machine and will probably never get what I got into out of it but I need to move it so I am selling it at a no reserve price so highest bidder owns it.
