The body on the car is rust free and straight. An all around solid car with new floors and quarter panels, also new paint, new rear bumper, and GT350 stripes, the car looks great, I'd say better than driver quality but not a super show car ether, from 5 feet the car is flawless, but up close you can see some minor imperfections. that being said the car is beautiful none the less. This mustang has a stout 289 V8 with a holley 4 barrel carb that has been freshly rebuilt the engine in the fastback is clean as a bell inside and has less than 5000 miles on it. as of right now the car has only down pipes on the manifolds for exhaust. If you like to install your own exhaust i can leave it that way or it is off to the muffler shop for a set of duel exhaust. some people prefer certin brand and configuration for differant sound) The brake system is all new. I see when unfolded, fully illustrated photos, company history, and specifications. There are photo illustrations of all of the Gangster era models including the Cabriolet and Phaeton. This six fold brochure looks to be present and fully readable with slight aging to the pages. I see a few small tears at the edges, but this brochure is fully intact and strong still. My 7 closeup photos are very true to life. I imagine that these booklets are scarce to ever see. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Too cool to pass up! Welcome to Speedometerart.com. We are excited to offer rescued speedometers from cars of which many have forever disappeared from our automotive past and transform them into lighted desktop or shelf pieces to be proudly displayed. These treasures are sure to be enjoyed by the generation that drove automobiles from the 1950's and 1960's all the way to the generation of today and the future! Finally found a nice 1964 1/2- 1965 Mustang speedometer which has been upholstered in red. Plastic chrome was used on these speedometers and many did not weather the years well at all. This speedometer was stored in a box for years which helped with its preservation. While there is some plastic chrome flaking. The amount of remaining plastic chrome makes this one a great find. The speedometer registered its last mile at 99.341(we will never know ... morethe exact mileage) The speedometer needle has been set at 70 MPH with the fuel and temperature gauges all having been set in a driving position to give the appearance the gauges are functioning as was originally intended. An AC outlet is all that is required to power the lights to illuminate this early pony car speedometer. All speedometers will show their history of surviving 40-60 years with scratches. Paint chips, fading, flaking and other imperfections. Only the nicest examples are turned into Speedometer Dashes to be proudly displayed. 1965 Mustang lawsuit copy/fender VTG case/custom rebuild Gibson VTG humbucker
1965 vintage custom Fender Mustang copy. Lawsuit guitar. This was a copy guitar, I believe sold at Sears originally in 1965, before Fender put a halt to it. It has it's original body, neck, bridge, knobs and basic hardware. It has an extremely rare mute bridge, which is not found on any other model that I have seen. It was totally a mess when I found it. I left the body the way it was found, I think it adds some cool character to it. The neck was cleaned and remounted and straightened and is in fine playable condition. The single coil pick ups were gone and there was a vintage 1960s humbucker, wired in and cut in to the original pick guard. Trust me, it looked horrible. So I created and had specially made a new pick guard to house the Gibson Humbucker, which I thought was a cool idea anyway! Had that all wired in, cleaned all the hardware ... moreand knobs, and added some Fender tuners, since the old cheapy ones were useless. This guitar was set up to play, and it has a very awesome sound to it that is all it's own. It's like a Fender and Gibson rolled into one cool guitar! It will come with an original 1960s Fender Mustang case. Please see the photos for details and condition. This is one cool and unique vintage guitar that is sure to bring the wow factor into any guitarists head. A great collectible piece as well as a unique sounding and playing guitar. This is a perfect example of a well-kept instrument– the few marks/dings are displayed in the photos. Three-color Sunburst finish. Rare side half-oval shaped fret markers. Has all original parts– and comes with new strings. Plays well and has only minimal fret wear. Also. Comes with an original silver colored FENDER MUSTANG HSC(circa 1964-1966) All the latches are in good working condition. 1966 Fender Mustang Original Control Plate, Pots, and knobs
This auction is for a 1966 Fender Mustang control plate. Pots, knobs, input jack, and pickup shields. The pots are 250K. And the original.05 capacitor is soldered to the bottom of the tone control pot. The pots are solid shaft. All soldering is original. The original cloth wiring is still attached and should have enough length to reach the neck and bridge pickups. There are 3 copper pick up/electronics shields that sit at the bottom of the pick up and control cavities(they may just go in the pickup cavities) and they are still soldered and intact. The input jack shows little sign of wear. The control plate is clean, but shows usage, especially around the volume pot. The electronics were in proper working order when I disassembled them. Mustang PFD, Model MV 3180 Cruiser
Mustang's Cruiser~ Vest series is designed not to look like a life vest at all. While still providing superior in-water flotation performance. Mustang's Cruiser~ Vest series features hand warmer pockets, a channelized waist belt with a quick release buckle, low cut arm holes, a smooth inner lining, a fleece lined collar, a side snap adjustment system for the hips and perimeter mesh net at the hem. The vests have been made using a multi-layer process. Consisting of outer shells of polyurethane-coated nylon, and a thick middle core of Airex~ or Ensolite~ PVC foam sewn to an inner lining of nylon. The polyurethane coating is on the inside surface of the outer shell and that the outer shell has been treated with a water-repellant substance. The vests have a U.S. Coast Guard Type III buoyancy rating. This vest is meant to be worn not only ... moreafloat. But around town! This vest is most similar to the current Mustang Model MV 3224. But mine has a belt that adds to comfort, keeps the vest from riding up and reduces water movement inside the vest, giving added warmth in the water.much like a wetsuit. I'd also say that it is very close to the Classic Flotation Coat. Model MC 1504, but without the sleeves. You can look up both of these on MustangSurvival.com to get the details. This item has a fleece lined collar for comfort and fleece lined hand warmer pockets as well as buttoned storage pockets. The front closure is a heavy duty two-way zipper plus a buttoned storm flap. The label says it is a size Large. Chest size 42- 46 inches. Pit to pit across the front is 23-24 inches. You can find the new version of this vest on Ebay from $129 to $179.
