Miller MIG Welder XR XMT 300 CC/CV Welding System
This is a used Miller extended reach welding system set up for MIG welding from our own operation. We bought it new and have kept it well maintained. It includes everything shown in the pictures. A Miller XR extended reach wire feeder. S-22A constant feed wire feeder, and a XMT 300 CC/CV DC inverter arc welder. This was just calibrated in February at our machine shop. It was used infrequently and is in excellent working condition. The power source also has the capability of gas metal arc, gas metal arc-pulsed, flux cored arc, gas tungsten arc, gas tungsten arc-pulsed, and shielded metal arc welding. It is wired 220 volts and can be picked up at our Stoughton, Ma. facility. If you want it shipped I will work with you on securing the components to a pallet for pick-up by your hired carrier.

I think the microswitch in the head that senses when the head is clamped tight needs to be either adjusted or replaced or maybe it is because I am not pulling the cable hard enough, as the head is not mounted to a table or connected to a foot pedal. This is a used Pro Weld International 1800 Amp Constant Current Stud and Stick Welder. It's in excellent running and very good/excellent cosmetic condition. Some minor scratches on the paint here and there as you might expect for a lightly used machine of this type. This is the very same machine as the Midwest Fasteners Ultra Arc(UA) 1800. Manufacture date is circa 1994-1995. Made in USA. The power supply appears to me to be made by Miller. I spoke with the folks at Pro Weld who confirmed it. Currently wired for 208/240V 3 Phase. It can be wired for 440/480V. Takes about 5 minutes. Machine comes with everything you see in the photos. ==================== Infinitely adjustable stud weld time to 1.7 seconds. And infinitely adjustable power to 1800 Amps. The front panel has a good chart to let you know what your weld time and power should ... morebe for different studs. I had to make one minor adjustment when testing, since i was welding stainless studs(slightly more power and time than mild steel) The machine is capable up to 7/8" studs(4/min) Less than 5/8" studs-unlimited number per minute. This machine can also do constant current stick welding up to 600 amps. There's a front mode switch for stud or stick weld selection. It's also capable of Arc air gouging– up through 750 Amps. Ferrules, and other accessories. It rolls quite smoothly and easily.
