This welder has been in the family for over 50 years. And has been in dry storage since the 70's. The top and base of the cover are actually made of wood! Fired it up the other day and it still puts down a great bead! There is no ID plate on the unit, so I never knew when it was made. However, upon contacting the Forney museum in Denver, Colorado with these pictures, I found it's one of the first units they ever made. see letter) I am retired and no longer have a use for it, so maybe a fabricator/old tool collector might want it. Up for sale is a Snap On YA219 120V Mig Welder. This welder will come and it will weld. All the welder does is melt the wire. It will not penetrate. The wire just piles up on the metal. It was welding fine and all of a sudden it just started piling up. I have not had the welder looked at so this is all I know. It is being sold as is for parts or repair. The welder runs off of 120volts-PRI Amp 20-10-60Hz-Kva 2.4-sec-volt-19-Sec-Amp-90-Duty Cycle 20%Max. O.C.V.32, and the model is 117-022. It does have A line for Argon.
