You are bidding on ONE Early Hand Forged Stone Mason Chipping Hammer Head. Measuring 4 15/16" long. The face is roughly 1" square, the edge is 1 1/16" wide, and this weighs 12 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker, there is a user mark on the side of the face. This in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some overall patina. I did take some sharp mushrooming off around the face, the face is good otherwise. The edge has some wear and light dings. That has been dressed a few times over the centuries as well. This ain't perfect but considering the age it sure ain't bad. That tapered and chamfered face marks this as early 19th Century or even late 18th Century in my book.
