This is a 2004 XMT 304 300 Amp Welding Machine. I purchased it on ebay not long ago because i didn't understand that the 304 line has several Phased Machines and styles. This specific Machine is 3 Phase only! It is too exspensive to convert it over to Single phase. However you can buy a Transformer box for Single Phase to convert it to 3 phase power for the machine, it's called a Phase Converter, however i suspect this would be too much for me and something that could mess up and cost as much as the machine to repair in the future. However, This machine does work with exact output Current and Voltage as it reads, which means it's not been abused over the Duty Cycle and holds a constant voltage and current for good welds. Just to be Certain about this I took it to Modern Supply to a guy there that works on welders in their Repair ... moreShop and he's been in Buisiness since 1982.
