But without any major damage. Has the normal bit of rust and wear for a welder of this age. Quite a bit of the paint has flaked off. There is some rust under where the battery goes. Though it is still structurally intact. The tires are both in good shape and I didn't see any cracks in the sidewall. Does not include a title for the trailer. The trailer uses a 2" ball. See photos below for more details on physical condition. We charged the included battery and the welder started right up within a second or two of cranking(50F outside) The engine sounded good and ran well. We let it run for awhile until up to about 150F on the temperature gauge. The oil ... morepressure gauge always showed max. pressure. So not sure if there is a problem with it or not. The welder does leak some oil. Seems to be coming from the oil pan. We have tried the two 115V A/C type outlets and they both power equipment just fine, each was 120V at 57Hz(a little low, but speed could be increased a bit) The 240V outlets also output fine at 240V and 57Hz. We connected up welding leads(not included) and were able to weld fine with the unit. The auto idle feature works well and idles down after not being used for 15 seconds and then goes to high idle when in use. We are located in Christiansburg. VA 24073. From what I can tell this welder is overall in good working order. We have included the video below of the welder in operation. Surplus used welder/generator from the reinforcing steel side of our business. This is a Lincoln model SAM-300. It provides constant voltage or constant current depending on the welding process used. As such it can support SMAW/FCAW/GMAW or gouging with the right equipment. It is mounted to a trailer frame. Tires are in usable condition but have been sitting. The unit was put away into storage about 3 years ago and ran when it was stored.
