They fired for probably only a couple second per cycle but have no idea how many cycles. In later years the majority of the units were ran on the remaining line as it is more versatile. This line was purchased around 1983 and we only have maintenance records from 1986. This unit was removed from production and has been stored since 2007. This line ran until the day it was decided two lines were not necessary for required production. This machine works its just in need of some TLC and someone that knows how these things work. It has no adjustment in the flow current. If you put it on the middle settings it seems to use the lowest current in that setting even if you push the foot pedal down it does not increase or decrease the electrical current coming from the torch end it will hardly weld some floor pans.if you turn it to the high setting i imagine its still to the lowest setting but now its so much it blows right threw the flloor pan. Not sure whats wrong with it everything else works great has bran new torch end. Does not come with tank. Has everything else to operate including 5 gallon buckets with pump in it to operate the water cooling on the setup.

Surplus used welder/generator from the reinforcing steel side of our business. This is a Lincoln model SAM-300. It provides constant voltage or constant current depending on the welding process used. As such it can support SMAW/FCAW/GMAW or gouging with the right equipment. It is mounted to a trailer frame. Tires are in usable condition but have been sitting. The unit was put away into storage about 3 years ago and ran when it was stored. It may need some minor repairs as it hasn't been run since but prior to being put away it was running very well and putting down a good weld bead.
