I bought this& was told it was in bank litigation since the year 2000 and was in storage. I cleaned the carburetor. Cleaned the points, plugs, rotor, distributor cap& had to change the starter with a good one that i had from another engine. I got it fired up and welded with it some and it welds good, but the exciter is NOT kicking the RPMs up- I don't know why and I am just selling it that way. The 110V outlet works- i plugged my angle grinder in& it worked like it should. I also had to clean the gas tank out. It may ... moreneed a little tinkering here and there, but it's a nice welder& worth putting a little time in it. The side panels are missing as well as the tube that goes from the air cleaner to the carb. The hour meter reads 1302.8 The trailer that it was mounted on was a POS. So I scrapped it and set it on this one, which is a nice heavy duty one with aluminum wheels. It is just setting on it and still needs bolted down- I will leave that to the winner of the auction to do or we can just weld it straight to the trailer when you get here. Otherwise, bring a trailer and I will set the welder and the trailer separately onto your trailer as 2 separate pieces. This is a local pickup in Sheffield. Ohio 44054. Very clean miller big 20. Got from grandfathers estate and I believe he bought it new. It runs and welds great and has a continental four cylinder engine with no oil leaks. It is an original machine. I also have the owners manual. The hour meter shows around 1900 original hours. The only thing that could be replaced is the face plate as it is faded out.
