It plugs in to a welder power supply(such as a Shopmaster 300 or other Miller power supply to provide TIG welding capability. It is typically used with a 150 or 250 amp air or water cooled torch/gun. Miller Dynasty 300 DX Welder,Cooler,Cart unit Easy fix for circuit board person
Here we have a used Miller 300DX unit with cart and cooler S/N LG340623L. It has been a really good unit up to this point when the high frequency stopped working. It will try to strike and arc but will not put out correct amps in order to weld and with no error codes on screen. Everything else works properly. I have been told by several individuals they are quite easy to repair and are some of the best older welders Miller has made do to their simplicity circuitry.
