Hobart Handler MIG welder model 6869 similar to a Hobart 140 mig welder
This is an older Hobart Handler 6969 that has been in operation for about 15-20 years. It is currently in non-working order. It recently started giving me problems and was not feeding wire at all. I had a friend troubleshoot and we found that two of the diodes were bad. I replaced the two diodes and the welder worked for another 3 sessions of welding when it stopped feeding wire once again. Rather than continue to try and repair this welder I decided to buy a new one. They don’t make welders like this any longer and this unit has done more that its share of work. This could have some life left in it but I just don’t have the time to continue to invest in this welder. I would prefer a pickup only but will ship this for $68 if you are the winning bidder. It has some flux wire in it now, it has never been used on gas, but has all the original parts( tank not included, I never bought a tank for it. I have used this welder for years. It has been a very good welder. It comes with a nearly new gun and cable. I think it is a 16 foot. I am selling it because one day while welding it just stopped feeding wire. I checked it's breakers and all good. I don't think it would take much to make it work again, but I DO NOT know that for a fact. It powers up and sounds like it works it just does not feed wire. Nice used unit that's not too big so it will fit into a small home garage or shop/ auto body work station or service truck/ van. We used this for welding sheet metal in our service van but are downsizing so time for it to find a new home. Has a new Lincoln brand spool of.030 wire and has the shielding gas port if you wanted to ad shielding gas later. One of the rubber door catches is missing but the remaining one holds it fine.
