This is a 1998 SA 250 Pipeliner with a Perkins D3.152 Diesel Engine power Source. It is 100% duty cycle at 200 amps and 60% duty cycle at 250 amps. It starts and runs great and has no problems whatsoever. It does not use much fuel and welds great. I have three and do not need it any longer as I am downsizing. The trailer we fabricated ourselves. it is titled and I have title. It has torflex axles. So no need to worry about springs. The lights all work and it has a pintle hitch so as to not worry about others wanting to borrow it. The cables do not go with the welder unless you want to buy them also at an additional price. You can come operate it if you wish or if you are serious we can take a video. As you can see tires are 80% and it is ready to pull down the road. You will not be sorry with this machine. Lincoln SA 250 Diesel Welding Machine (460 Original Hours)
This is a Lincoln SA 250 diesel welding machine(1997 model according to the serial number) with the Perkins/Detroit three cylinder engine. It has 460 original hours on it since new as it was a standby welder. It has a new radiator and battery as well as a spin on oil filter that i installed on it. Doors are not included. There is some small corrosion holes on the bottom of the front frame member but does not affect integrity. This is a super nice machine with original hours and is not a rebuild. Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder Feel free to ask questions via email or(540)381-3011 For sale is this used Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder. The welder is used and a bit older. But without any major damage. Has the normal bit of rust and wear for a welder of this age. Quite a bit of the paint has flaked off. There is some rust under where the battery goes. Though it is still structurally intact. The tires are both in good shape and I didn't see any cracks in the sidewall. Does not include a title for the trailer. The trailer uses a 2" ball. See photos below for more details on physical condition. We charged the included battery and the welder started right up within a second or two of cranking(50F outside) The engine sounded good and ran well. We let it run for awhile until up to about 150F on the temperature gauge. The oil ... morepressure gauge always showed max. pressure. So not sure if there is a problem with it or not. The welder does leak some oil. Seems to be coming from the oil pan. We have tried the two 115V A/C type outlets and they both power equipment just fine, each was 120V at 57Hz(a little low, but speed could be increased a bit) The 240V outlets also output fine at 240V and 57Hz. We connected up welding leads(not included) and were able to weld fine with the unit. The auto idle feature works well and idles down after not being used for 15 seconds and then goes to high idle when in use. We are located in Christiansburg. VA 24073. From what I can tell this welder is overall in good working order. We have included the video below of the welder in operation. Lincoln SA 250 Diesel Welder / Generator low 797 hrs (1 owner on Butler Trailer)
Up for sale we have a LINCOLN SA-250 Perkins diesel powered welder with the optional 115v/230v outlets. This machine was bought new and maintained by Atlanta Gas Light here in Atlanta GA. and has been serviced every 100 hours of use since being new. The model year is a 1995 with only 797 hrs of total use. The unit has a 1995 BUTLER trailer with brakes included that the unit is mounted on. It is a pintle hitch as seen in the pics. The welder starts and performs perfectly. Idles just like it should and both the outlets are operating correctly. The unit comes with the aluminum lead box mounted to the rear of the trailer, for storing up to 100' of leads. leads are not included with this auction) The tires are in great condition and ready to be hauled to your destination. Pick up or shipping will be at the buyers expense. We will be more than ... morehappy to demo/ test or have your mechanic inspect the unit prior to bidding or placing an offer.
