1970 Ford 2110 industrial tractor 48 HP 3pt hitch power steering gas engine used
Up For Sale is a Ford 2110 with power steering and 3 point hitch. The hour meter is not working but the engine runs good. This was designed as an industrial tractor to mow with and someone put bigger tires on than what came from factory. I believe it was also repainted as the other pictures I seen are showing more gray than what this has. Tires are in good shape although it has a little rust around valve stem. It is a gear drive with 6 speeds forward and 2 reverse. It has differential lock and power steering. I FOUND OUT THERE WERE TWO FORD 2110 MODELS. Below are links to both models on tractordata.com. This low reserve auction is for a Taishan 274 compact tractor with a Koyker front end loader. The four wheel drive tractor has 27 horsepower and has a diesel engine. The tractor starts and runs good. It has a new battery and seat cover. It has been nonprofessionally painted but looks pretty good. I believe it is a 1992 or 1993 model but don't know for sure. These tractors are badged in different ways. This one is badged as a Dragon 274 with a Taishan data plate. This is a handy size tractor. Ford 4000 55 hp tractor w/loader. GAS! runs great! Here is an early 70's model Ford 4000 tractor. Tractor is 55 hp and 2WD. This motor is very strong. Very good compression in all 3 cylinders. This is a GAS model. No smoke when it starts. None while running. Doesn't blow any oil or lose any fuel. No hydraulic leaks anywhere. The loader arms and the bucket cylinders are slow to operate. Both up and down. this tractor had an add on hydraulic system added to it and the pump that operates all hydraulics is a smaller pump.operates slower than normal,but power wise is very strong.All of the hydraulics are running from the transmission tank pump system.the loader on this tractor is built like a sherman tank.alot heavier built than most loaders. Look at the hydraulic cylinders on the loader arms. There are some stains on them. We had to clean ... morethem a bit. With just very light sandpaper. Just some old grease and stuff that had never been cleaned from them. None of it is pitted rust or threatens the integrity of the cylinder. Nothing that needs to be rechromed. If it had to be, we would have done it. The bucket cylinders are fine. None of them were cleaned or leak anywhere. The bucket is solid and very large. No holes or rust anywhere.Overall just a great machine! The 8 speed transmisson works fine. Pulls well. The clutch is tight. The instrument cluster has no meter. Didn't come with one. Seems that this model tractor was built without one. The tires are great as is the seat. The 3 pt hitch and the PTO run fine. Absolutely no issues. No reserve, and a starting bid at ½ the price of new. Look at the tires; you can still read the tire size stamped on the surface tread. It may have a few scuffs and scratches, but runs and functions as new. I am told it is the same as a Ford 3910 and that most parts are interchangeable, but I have never had a occasion to confirm use any parts. This tractor was replaced with a cab tractor because it has been too dry and dusty, during this drought, to use an open cab tractor for shredding. It ended up costing me a lot of work.$ 30.00 I won't get back, and they won't even let me leave feedback for him. Kind of goes with the times. I will be selling this local also since ebay and paypal will net around 300 for this auction if it sells. Let me start by saying this is not a John Deere tractor. It was painted JD colors. It is however a great Vintage Japanese tractor just as good as a deere. They are made in Japan now also. This is a 4 cylinder gas 25 HP that was made by Satoh before it was Mitsubishi. The engine is made by Mazda and very reliable. This one has a good working front end loader that will pick up a small block Chevy engine ... moreand load it in a Uhaul truck-I have done it. It will also move a car trailer with a car on it using three point lift-hitch on rear. It has the locking rear differential by stepping on a pedal with heel to make it a posi. 2 speed PTO shaft, hi and low trans making 6 speeds forward and two reverse. The loader pump and cylinders/lines were replaced right before I purchased it. It has an electric Napa fuel pump that replaced the old pump.Makes it nice just to turn on key and gas pumps up. It never runs hot, the alternator charges battery good, the oil pressure gauge starts out at half way and goes up instead of starting at zero, has done that for years. The steering has play in it, seat is ripped, one rear rim has rust by valve stem and was painted over- I have never had to add air in tires for the years I have owned it. The brakes are good The bucket has some rust holes. The headlights are new and not wired up, rear light works good. No cable for the tach, was missing when I got it. you get the pattern, I am listing everything I know. None of this takes away from the fact this is a good old loader tractor for little money. The 4 wheel drive pulls great and the tires are in good condition with years of wear remaining. Brakes, clutch, lift, pto, FEL etc works fine as well. With 25 hp it has more hp than many compact tractors. This one had the power to run a 5 ft cutter and many three point attachments. Well maintained and in good running condition. I put a 700 pound cement block on the back for extra weight and I just bought brand new tire chains which haven't even been installed on it yet. The 60" Curtis snow plow has a brand new double sided cutting edge and functions perfectly. Some surface rust on the plow but is a SOLID, HEAVY DUTY snow plow and can't be beat for stacking snow. Only 4 pins and 2 hydraulic hoses to swap the bucket to the snow plow. The diesel engine starts even in the coldest weather and runs strong! This tractor is a beast and won't stop for any amount of snow! It does need some minor repairs including headlights, hood, ... moregrill and a slight leak on the dumping hydraulic pistons. Most of the hydraulic hoses have been replaced in the last couple years. The PTO handle linkage is broken and will need to be repaired in order to engage the mid and rear PTO. This is my 2001 John Deere 5420. 65 Horesepower Tractor that I bought brand new from my local dealer. It has 2,447 original hours on it. We mowed our local DuPont factory with it and a 16' batwing finish mower. Tractor is in great condition. I had to replace one back tire so one is new and the other one has a couple years on it. It does not smoke at all. We have serviced it regularly when I had 3 full time mechanics. We always used CENPECO 15w40 oil in it and all of our equipment and we have never had any engine problems. Well. Folks, it is with great sadness that i put my AGCO ALLIS 4650 and all of my implements(yes all go with her for same price! up for sale. I am the second owner of this tractor, bought it in 2003 and added the Quickie Q720 quick detach loader purchased and installed new at Bannister Tractor in Oxford Alabama. At the same time, i had them do a complete inspection of the tractor, doing full service maintenance on it as well. This tractor has been a great piece of equipment for me. Never fails to start. the engine is air cooled. yes. I said air cooled. And i know what you are thinking, since i thought the same thing when i was looking at it to buy. how can a 50 horse power tractor be air cooled and not run hot? Well, it can and it is a great thing. First thing i had Bannister tractor check out was the temperature gauge, since it never moved ... moreoff of cool setting even after running for hours. I was told they would check it but it was probably fine, as these tractors never get very warm and he was right. Temp gauge was working just fine. A great thing not to have to worry with coolant or radiator getting clogged with grass seed and the thing running hot like you do with some tractors. I got a divorce 3 years ago. Had to give up half of my land and my hunting lease at that time. since then got remarried to the best woman on earth, sold more of my land to get her a beach condo last summer. all the while clinging onto this great tractor. finally decided that after 2 years of only using it for work around the yard it is time to find a new home!
