You are bidding on an original. Circa 1962, brochure issued by the Ford Tractor& Implement Operations for the New Size 4000 and 5000 tractors in good condition. The brochure measures about 8 1/2 X 11 inches when folded. And has 23 pages, and is Form Number AD-9068 1264200. There is no copyright date. But this line of tractors was introduced around 1962. The brochure shows the features of the tractor. And its specifications. The main condition issues of the brochure are some minor soiling and creasing. Ford 5000 tractor. Tractor parked in barn over 23 years ago. While it was parked some one stole the radiator of f tractor along with battery. Tractor was complete other than that. We took apart and we have. Brand new radiator for tractor cost over 400. Put new water pump on tractor. Got new napa big factory size battery. For all sheet metal and parts to put it back together. Will run and drive. Three point works along with power steering and Pto. Needs radiator put back on and sheet metal. Be ready to paint or use. You get tractor along with all parts. Got old seat but you will need to buy a new seat and a fan belt to finish tractor up with a few bolts to go along with it. Good straight one owner tractor! Don't have time to our back together. Ford 5000 tractor. Deisal motor. Runs and drives really good. Tractor has Massey front end loader. It's a quick attach loader. No welds or broke spots on loader. Tractor has Pto. Three point hitch. Dual rear remotes. Tractors motor don't smoke and runs really good. Tractor gears out good and great brakes. Pto works great and turns of also good. The three point hitch works good up and down as post to. The loader works good but is a little slow. I thank the loader value is bye passing a little. It works but little slow. Power steering works really good also. Just a good project tractor or cheap useing tractor. Been useing daily. Ready to keep working for you. Payment due in five days after auction. Used Ford 5000 Farm Tractor: 50 hp 4cyl diesel engine-power steering. Unit has nearly new aftermarket add on power steering, works perfectly, dash has been modified to accommodate upgrade-3pt hitch. Drawbar, rear 540 pto-high and low range w/ 3 forward and 1 reverse gear in each range for a total of 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. 1 rear tire at 10% 1 rear tire at 65% tread, all tires are dry and weathered, 1 front tire has sidewall separation and will go down over the course of a few days-Unit has a factory Ford brand Model 712 front pump front end loader with hay fork attachment-serious factory Ford rear wheel weights-newer seat-new Napa battery. New alternator, 12 volt system Tractor weighs approximately 7500 lbs. with loader and rear wheel weights. Unit cranks from the seat and runs properly. No excess smoke. No major dripping leaks. ... moreFuel pump chatters. Not sure if it is just the nature of old mechanical fuel pump or wear. Loader works great and is very fast. No welds or breaks on loader frame. Right loader rear bracket has a weld in it. 3pt hitch and pto both work properly. Pto shuts off and stops properly. This is an older tractor that functions properly mechanically but is far from new. It is a big heavy cheap old loader tractor. Our inspection is limited to a limited test drive on level ground to check basic mechanical functions. Ford 5000 diesel tractor runs good ready to go
I bought this tractor at a auction. The thiug runs good. It was 30 degrees the other day when I started it for pictures and it needed some starting fluid and I had to jump it but it started right up. It shifts through all the gears just fine. The three point and brakes worked like they should. The power steering was tough but I put in some power steering fluid and it worked good. The three point and brakes worked like they should. It is just an honest old tractor which I think has a lot of life left in it. The tractor is running in the pics. It is sitting at the auction where I bought it. You can either send me a check for it or you can pay for it when you pick it up. 1971 Ford 5000 Diesel Tractor Original One Owner 2798 Original Hours Straight!
Up for bid is a 1971 Ford 5000 Diesel Tractor. 2798 original one-owner hours. This came from a local farm. And spent the past ten years or so on a 6' brush hog. Before that about the most it ever did was make hay. This is a straight original tractor. Working tachometer and instrument cluster. Working SOS transmission with no known issues. Power Steering. ROPS with canopy. Dual hydraulic remotes out the back. Clean Cat II 3pt hitch with telescoping bottom links and top link(not original but included) Matched set of Goodyear Dynatorque 15.5-38's on the rear in good shape with about 60% life. I believe they are loaded. Has spin-out rims. You will notice the dash side panels are off. However they are included in the sale. Working 12v generator setup. Flat-top fenders. Buy-it-now price includes the weights and bracket. There are(6) weights. ... moreLook to be 100 pounders. Known issues: Grill screen has some damage(see picture) We repaired a minor hose leak on hydraulic oil cooler return line. May need a hose. Normal leaks(nothing abnormal) for a tractor of this age. The PTO brake isn't adjusted correctly so it just"coasts" after you disengage the PTO. Normally the brake would stop it immediately. The PTO drives fine just doesn't brake on disengage. Front tires are truck tires and worn out. I cannot make any guarantees if the lights work or not. If tractor does not meet your expectations when you come to get it you can walk away with no hard feelings. I feel strongly this is a tractor that won't disappoint. Please check out my other items. Fordson super major diesel farm tractor it runs good starts easy the way you see it is way I got it it has new battery new starter the tires are poor shape but all hold air clutch is good brakes and pto all work it has power steering. The tractor has minor oil drips it's old.the guy I got it from said it was not being used much in the last few years he said when he parked it the three point hitch work he started it a few months later and it was stuck down he said it happens the valve gets stuck open? I don't know so as of right now it's all there but dosent go up. It's missing a fender and the piece it mounts to on the floor.
