John Deere 950 Tractor with 5' Bush Hog Mower Cutter!
John Deere 950 Utility Tractor with Bush Hog Brand mower. I bought this tractor 5 years ago at an estate sale. The tractor had turf tires all the way around with a finishing mower attached to it and was told it was bought brand new in 1987 and only used to mow the 5 acre backyard. The finishing mower was not included with the tractor at the actual sale so I purchased the used Bush Hog a few weeks later. Bush Hog worked great when I bought it. Mowed and cut well. The repairs you see painted in"John Deere" green are all cosmetic flaws that I repaired. I left the turf tires on the front as they work fine and put a brand new set of Lug Tires on the back of this tractor for better traction. This tractor had 4,355 hours on it when I bought it. As you can see from the hours meter, I have not put many hours on it in 5 years and has never ... morehad anything hooked to it other than this Bush Hog since I have owned it. Tractor has been well taken care of and cranks, runs, drives like a dream! I will drive and mow with this tractor anywhere but I feel it could use a good clutch job. The tractor shifts fine and goes in and out of gear great but need to make sure you are completely stopped before you shift gears, as with any tractor! It could use a brake job as well. It has brakes but they are very hard. I apologize but the tractor's serial# tab located on the rear of the tractor was not on it when I bought it. Lastly, the ignition switch went out on me so I put a bush button start on and it works perfectly and has for 3 years now. This tractor is a few years old but in very good condition, much better than some of the others I have seen on eBay! Sold as is. John Deere 950 tractor with #80 Loader nice well maintained tractor
For sale is a really nice John Deer Tractor 950 with 80 Loader. I believe it is a 1978 model but not sure, not a big tractor guy, but it is 2 wheel drive, hydraulic steering, not sure on the HP, is Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel. It has 2654 hours on it but runs like a Swiss watch. Used primarily around our yard. Engine was overhauled last year. Made a lot of fixes and improvements this year. Painted entire tractor. Many hydraulic hoses replaced, brand new remote hydraulic connectors, no rust to speak of, other than a little in the inside of bucket, which is unavoidable, only a dent in front of hood as seen in pictures. Nothing is beat up or misused, I"baby" my stuff quite a bit and it shows. No oil leaks at all around engine. Oil change in spring of this year. Drained and flushed entire hydraulic system and replaced with JD hydraulic ... moreoil(easily the most expensive oil I ever purchased in my live! new hydraulic filter and replaced all hydraulic hoses. New muffler and header gaskets. New thermostat, and water pump(had to replace thermostat, changed water pump too since it all had to be taken apart anyway) all new coolant hoses, new starter glow plug. New front light bezel and a bunch of cosmetic parts and items. Invested way over $1,000.00 this year alone, so nothing need to be done on it, ready for a new owner without any headaches. Have all the receipts from this year’s investments. Comes with Original JD owner manual, shop manual, parts book/manual, loader manual. Everything works great as it should. Take a look at the pictures, taken about a week ago. Tractor always stored inside. Tires in great shape, selling because we downsize lot, don’t need a big tractor like this, can deliver within 100 mile radius@ $2.00 mile round trip, only after tractor is paid in full including delivery cost. Up for sale is one used John Deere 950 MFWD tractor with one used Bush Hog FTH600 finish mower. Tractor has good running engine with 2811 hours showing on a working meter. Tractor had approximately 1600 hours when we purchased it. We are selling as a"parts or project" tractor because we no longer have a need for it or the time& resources to do the repairs. The tractor needs a battery. Clutch, wiring harness, ignition switch& some seals. It has hydraulic leaks most everywhere but no engine leaks. Cover on dash is missing. The steps need repairs with one side having a broken bolt(see pics) Tires are worn down to about 20% or less. Alternator was checked& is good. John Deere 950 4x4 tractor with 75 Loader with P steering Project or parts
Hello. I bought this from the original owner who took it to the dealer because it was over heating. They took the head off and it had some pock marks on the center by the valves on the head. But didn't look that bad to me. I had a mechanic put a new head gasket, and thermostat put it back together and she started right up and run good. BUT IT STILL PUSHES WATER BACK OUT THE RADIATOR. So it was worth a chance. But is still not fixed. There is no water in the oil and the tractor burns clear out the exhaust after it runs a bit. A new head on ebay is a $1000. including a new head gasket. I drove it around and the clutch is about shot. In high gear it does not want to move. Also the down pressure on the loader does not dig into dirt or lift the tractor so I do not know what that will need. Power steering works fine. PTO works and the lift ... morearms work. I just do not have time right now to fix it so it is being sold as-is for parts. Any questions I can be reached days at 973-525-0100. Last the serial number under the PTO, the plate is missing. The photo is of the loader serial number. Tractor must be picked up in Kenvil NJ 07847 Payment will be cash in hand only. Nice tractor.
