The tractor is in incredible condition. There is a small dent on the hood. I purchased this tractor with only 42 hours and have had it ever since. It has been used to mow our lawn and mulch our beds. Never used commercially. I have changed the oil every 100 hours. Everything on this unit performs as it should. It has only 689 hours. I converted our beds to stone mulch and purchased a JD zero turn so, I no longer have need for this tractor. Some of the features are. Very Nice John Deere 4100 with Sitrex finish Mower
Up for bid. John Deere 4100 4 X 4 with a 4ft Sitrex Finish mower. The tractor and mower are in great shape. The tractor has 586 hrs. I am the second owner of this tractor. I was told it's a 2001 but I can't be sure about that. I think John Deere made these from 98 to 01. I have had the tractor for 3yrs. The reason I am selling it is because I bought a JD 2305. This tractor is gear driven. It does not have the front hydraulic hookups. The tractor is in excellent shape. I take care of my stuff. The engine oil/filter and transaxle was just changed. Late last Fall the fuel filter, front drive axle oil and air filters were changed. The front tires were changed in summer of 2012. The back tires are still in good shape. The only thing I have ever had fixed on the unit was the electric switch that engages the PTO. Other than that all I have ... moredone is the scheduled maintenance and haven't had any problems. The Sitrex mower was purchased three years ago from a local dealer. It was new old stock. They had changed brands they were selling a few years prior and it had sit on their lot. That's why it looks so faded. Since then the tractor and mower has been kept inside out of the weather. Its a very nice tractor and you will be happy with it. The tractor has a block heater that I added. Also included is the Operators Manual for the tractor and mower. I also have the technical manual for the tractor. I live just off I-79 in North Central WV, very easy to get to my place. I will not deliver. It has to be picked up! Payment in full when you pick the unit up. I prefer cash. If you show up and for some reason don't like it. You don't have to pay. Your just out your time and travel. But, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed. Bought new in 2003 one owner John Deere model 4100 with 410 loader only 298 HRS
Selling this for a friend and neighbor who bought it new. Selling because of declining health. It was used in his and son local landscaping business. Used sowing yards. Mulching etc. Wasn’t used enough to keep so decided to sell. It was bought new at Blue Ridge Ag and Turf in Mt Airy, NC or you might recognize the town of Mayberry, NC. John Deere model 4100 4X4 one owner only 298 hours bought new 2003 manufactured date is 2000. The tractor is in very good shape. One with low hours is hard to find. It has the 410 John Deere Loader. Has fiberglass top. Nice bumper. It does have a belly bar that comes with it not pictured. Low and High Range with 4 gears in each range. So it would be 8 forwards and 8 reverses. 20 HP Yanmar 1.0L 3-cyl diesel. 540 PTO rear and 2100 PTO center. Holds 5.8 Gallons diesel. 3 point hitch and all hydraulics work as ... morethey should and engine runs like new with no leaks as I can see on anything. It also has power steering. The oil has just been changed and greased. John Deere recommends every 100 to 150 hours so it has just been done for the second time. It has the Bridgestone turf tires but I would recommend putting new ones on the front later. The rears are fine but the front tires are showing some dry rotting. My son help me clean it up and detailed it so we didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. It has a John Deere seat cover because the original has weather cracks. The owner friend of mine is a very honest guy and I saw it when he bought it new in 2003 and saw what he used it for and it has had an easy life…just needs to be used with a good home. It is not a new tractor but is in good shape and to me it’s just as useable as a new one. It has a few dings here and there but. Nothing major.
