1967 John Deere 4020 diesel tractor. Serial number T213R 153138R. Tractor has only 8438 total hours. Has new overhaul. Standard rod and main bearings. New pistons, pins, rings, and liners. Rebuilt injection pump, rebuilt starter and a rebuilt water pump. Has 8 speed syncro range transmission that is tight with no noise. 3 point and 540 or 1000 pto. Has 4 hydraulic remotes. 2 on dash and 2 on side) Rear tires are 18.4x34 with 75% tread. They are not matched. Front tires are 10.00x16. Good clutch, brakes, pto, and hydraulics. The tractor has dual remotes. A#46 front loader and the tires are in very good condition. It has a factory block heater but I have never needed to use it in SW Ohio. This is a nice John Deere 4020 diesel with an M& W turbo added. Horsepower should be somewhere around 116(Same setup as a JD 4320) The sheetmetal is in very nice condition and the paint is good too. This is not a show tractor just a great farm tractor that looks as good as it runs. Tractor has the synchro shift transmission. Dual remotes, 540 and 1000 pto, new rear rims and newer front wheels. John Deere 4020 diesel tractor, clean straight and original 2 owners read desc
I bought this tractor off of the second owner and this thing is about an original tractor as you will find. The person that I bought it off of has owned it for the last 15 years and he had 29 acres of food plots that he would disc up and that is all he used it for. As you can see in the pics there is a side battery holder and that is because he did not want to buy the right batteries so he just used 2 car batteries and started it. That is what we used to get it running when I loaded it. When I unloaded it I just jumped the clutch while it was rolling off the trailer and it fired right up. I parked it on a hill so if it isn't really cold we can start it this way or pull start it. The tractor is running in the pictures. This thing is very straight and clean. I bought this tractor at a auction. This tractor runs good. It is not the prettiest thing in the world but it still has a lot of life left in it. It shifts through all the gears like it should the brakes work and the three point works it does need a linkage cable for the3 point. I did notice that there was a a leak in the front seal but it was not running out of it and the tractor is running in the pics It is sitting at the auction yard where I bought it they will help you load it if you need. 1968 john deere 4020 diesel synchro transmission single hyd recent motor overhaul. Good tires, 15.5-38 rears, sheet metal a little rough, cab in good shape, farmhand f258 loader with bucket only, has its own hyd pump and valve for the loader, the controls for the loader are mounted by the seat. No 3 pt arms but it has the rockshaft and wishbone for them, pto works good, 540 and 1000 pto, has the Hinson cab with both doors, new aftermarket seat, tractor starts right up and runs and shifts good, loader operates good, clutch feels good. Nice 1969 4020 diesel. Synchro transmission,side consol, single hyd remote, bush hog quick attach hydraulic loader and bucket, joystick valve for the loader, the loader is quick attach from the tractor and also has westendorf quick attach for the bucket. We put a new clutch and pressure plate in this tractor this winter, also a real main engine seal, new batteries, and cables and a starter. We changed the original injection pump out to the new style jdb pump, the pump and lines are all from john deere. The tractor runs and drives really good. The transmission shifts really tight and the hydraulics work good. The rear tires are 18.4 34 and are at 90% the fronts are 7.50 18 and are at 40% It has rear wheel weights, and the top link, we.put a new john deere seat on it also. 1964 John Deere 4020 Diesel tractor. Serial no.71006. PowerShift transmission. New 24V generator, regulator, battery cables, keyswitch,radiator hose,fan belt. Injection pump rebuilt. Same farm since new but needs some work. Dirty-needs a good steam cleaning. Oil leak on bottom rockshaft control arm.
