John Deere Tractor - 1978 Model 2130 4 Cylinder Diesel
Selling my 1978 John Deere Tractor Model 2130: It is a 75 HP four cylinder diesel motor that is brand new. Everything works great. Three point hitch is strong and does not bleed off with draft control. Power steering is great, 1 remote for hydraulics, 540 PTO, high–low range transmission with 8 forward, 4 in reverse and Park(locks the transmission) the brakes work perfectly with ease and will lock either tire with very little pressure. I would rate the rear tires at%50 as seen in the pictures. The front tires are in excellent condition. Power steering works great and there are no fluid leaks on this tractor! The Engine is basically new. Less than one year since complete rebuild(60 PSI oil pressure) New crank. Rod bearings, piston sleeves, piston rings, milled head, new valve job, new alternator, new clutch& pressure plate, new fly wheel, ... moreall new seals with the exception of the oil pan gasket(no leaks) new PTO clutch pack. Tach. Temperature and oil pressure gauges are all brand new and operate correctly and just installed 2 new rear fenders& seat. This tractor is very straight and has not been abused; there are no dents on the sheet metal. I did not paint the tractor so as not to cover anything. The rims where painted. What is not quite right with the tractor… One minor flaw that I know of. There is diesel fuel drip on top of the fuel injector. It is coming from the shaft that attaches to the throttle body. I guess the seat is loose or cracked and may need to be replaced. Personally it is not enough of an issue to bother with. Just my thought. That’s it. Nothing else wrong with the tractor. It might have a small seep or two but no leaks that require adding any hydraulic oil. I do have the stabilizer bars that are to be used when using the 3 pt hitch hoe but they are not installed. They are of course included in the auction. The tractor\backhoe combination works pretty well but the tractor is a bit light in the front when driving with the hoe attached. One hundred lbs of weight in the front would do wonders. I will look and see if I have a tractor weight to include. This one is badged as a Dragon 324 with the data plate indicating Taishan 304.This is a handy size tractor and the hoe can be easily removed so that you can use a finish mower. Bushhog, post hole digger etc. It has agricultural tires that are in not new but good shape. This tractor has an economical diesel engine that starts and runs great. Brakes stop the tractor but are a little low. They likely can be adjusted. Lift works fine. It will handle a scrapper blade, bushhog, post hole digger or many other three point hitch implements. The diesel engine has plenty of power but uses very little fuel. Tractor is in decent condition. I took several high resolution pictures so that you can look it over closely. The size of this tractor makes it handy, the diesel engine makes it powerful and economical. The backhoe can be very handy for loading things in trucks and trailers, moving things around the farm, digging water lines, ponds or whatever. Up for sale is my ultra rare Oliver White 4-115 Mighty Tow. I bought it 6 years ago up on the Canadian border. Trucked it home, put it in my shed and there it has sat. I have other projects I want to work on so it's time to pass this on to someone who really appreciates these awesome tractors and hopefully restores it. I did start it to move it last year and it wanted to run the rpms up but the intake shutoff worked so i think the rail pin needs put back in. Tranny worked fine, I didn't get time to see if the PTO or 3 point worked. I know it needs the brakes redone. The 3 point from what I hear is a real rarity, its not all on the tractor but it came with all the parts to make it complete as seen in the pictures. Also the front wheel assist isn't hooked up and I noticed I had extra axles so it probably needs work, I think all ... moreof the parts are there but am not sure. I also have the front driveshaft, it isn't currently on the tractor. You can see in the pictures that it needs some sheetmetal work, and a few pieces are missing. The instrument panel is in poor shape and needs work. the good thing included in the sell is another parts tractor a 1950 oliver with the gmc in it, doesnt run maybe stuck, but it does have a complete front wheel assists for the other tractor and TONS of extra parts! I'm selling this so i can work on other projects. Prefer cash pickup. But can work with a certified check/ personal check, held til it clears. I can store both for a few months if needed and can help load if YOU setup shipping but want paid in full in less than 2 weeks after sale ends. Not sure on exact year. But I think it's a 2004. If it's not a 2004, it's definately a 2003. Cub Cadet Diesel Tractor 4 x 4. Good overall condition. Missing rear LH tail light- but it does not effect how the tractor operates. A few normal scratches and things from use. Hour meter quite around 346 hours. I estimate I have put another 100 hours on the tractor since it stopped, but this is only an estimate. Live PTO. Just had the tractor at the dealer for a maintenance check. New filters and some new gaskets replaced. All of the oil changed and ready to go. 60" mower deck is part of the deal. I have never used it, but appears to be in good condition and came with the tractor when I bought it. The tractor was new either in 2003 or 2004. The tractor model is a 7264.

Very nice Oliver 1265 diesel 4 wheel drive tractor for sale. I've owned this tractor about 10 years and have restored about 5 years ago. I've decided it's time to change around the collection a bit. It will be sad to see it go. Very few of the 4x4 models around, and I don't believe you'll find a nicer one. Check out video of tractor running. Tractor have been professionally repainted with an automotive quality finish and carries a good shine and smooth finish to it. The front wheel assist is in excellent working condition. The axle pivot pin and bushings replaced, new trunion bushings for front axle turn joints, new tie rod ends and the drive shaft was rebuilt with new u-joints. Great working power steering. John Deere industrial/farm tractor 4 cylinder diesel 62hp. Power steering with original loader. I have been using this tractor around the farm with no problems noted. This tractor is in supreme condition aside from the paint and some minor surface rust. Tractor starts at first crank with no smoke or blowby. Clutch,brakes are all within normal limits. Tractor is solid with very little minor wear. Front end and loader pins are all tight with very little wear noted. I have not seen any leaks on this tractor. Transmission has 8-speed hi/lo with hydraulic shuttle shift(do not need to use clutch when shifting forward/reverse) Tractor has 2783 hours. Tires are 90% Tractor has rear wheel weights,pto and 3pth for farm implements. All gauges appear to be operational,hydraulics are very strong and quick reacting. Tractor has 8 forward speeds with a 2 speed transmission giving you 16 forward speeds and 2 reverse. Tractor has pretty good tread on rears with turf tires. And snow tires on the front.
