1967 massey ferguson tractor 165
I have had this tractor for several years. The body panels are in pretty good condition other than a good cleaning,the tires are good and it runs great, it does have a fresh rebuilt diesel engine, i put a new clutch and pressure plate in it while the engine was out.I also had new brakes and rear wheel bearings put in ita year ago, i just put a new battery in it today,i only used it to mow with a finishing mower my 5 acres. The only reason im selling is because i got a great deal on a newer tractor call with any questions 931-629-4870.

Here is a Massey Ferguson 165 diesel tractor that I have owned and worked for 25 years-made in the late 1960's-early 1970's The 52 hp Perkins diesel engine was rebuilt 426 hours ago-it starts right up thanks to new starter. Solenoid, and battery The hydralic pump and power steering pump are also new While I have owned it I have had the radiator rebuilt and replaced the clutch The large MF 236 bucket works perfectly The MF 52 backhoe works fine but needs a seal replaced on the piston that controls the hoe-it leaks and I have to add fluid periodically The thumb on the backhoe works fine but currently needs to be bled-like bleeding brakes. It takes two people I have never had the backhoe off so have not used the 3-point hitch-I assume it works fine The heavier than stock rear wheels have full chains on them This powerful machine does ... moreeverything I ask it to do-except it doesn't stop well-the brakes are very worn I have gotten too old to do much with this big machine and would like to buy a smaller one-reason for selling It comes with all the manuals. 1973 Massey Ferguson 165 with front loader
Massey Ferguson 165 tractor with front end loader for sale. It also has a ROPS with the canopy installed. There are three levers under the seat which control the loader and the rear arms. The transmission has been rebuilt to include the fix which keeps the tractor from"free-wheeling" down hill. This is a problem on many old multi-power transmissions. While we were in the transmission. We replaced the throw out bearing and the braided steel hydraulic hose. All of the gears looked like brand new in there. The only reason I took out the transmission was because of the free-wheeling issue. I wanted it to be right. The tractor has been recently serviced to include changing all fluids(anti-freeze, oil, and hydraulic fluid) I added the spin on oil filter adapter. I also installed a fuse block and re-wired the tractor. All gauges work. ... moreI replaced the in tank fuel float switch as well as the fuel gauge so it would display an accurate level. Tractor has 3550 hours on it. It runs good and is ready to work. I've seen several of these for sale online with 6000-7500 hours so there is plenty of life left. I bought this tractor to help clear some acreage and then bush-hog it after I planted grass. Plans changed and I'm no longer using the land for my original purpose. Therefore I no longer need the tractor and it's time to sell. The only thing the tractor needs at this point is a little sealant around the upper seams of the fuel tank. It is serviced and ready to work. NOTE: The brush piler in the photos is not for sale. I borrowed it.
