Massey Ferguson 65 Restored Farm Tractor
This is a restored 1960 Massey Ferguson 65 high clear row crop farm tractor. This tractor runs and drives great. It has a four cylinder diesel engine with about 45 hp. 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds, 540 PTO, one rear remote auxillary valve, Cat I three point hitch and a two stage clutch for live power. The hour meter shows 9968 hrs but we can not be sure that is correct. It appears to have less hours on it. The front tires look like new. The rear tires have good tread left on them but there is some minor weather checking and a few small gouges on the bar lugs. There are a few minor oil leaks but nothing major. The hoods are straight and the paint is very good. We do not know of any problems with the tractor but it is being sold"as is" there is no warranty of any kind. We will not arrange shipping however we will help load.

It does have power steering and it works some and acts like it needs some oil put in it and it would work good. The tractor is located at the auction where I bought it at. Nice option to have if you've ever worked with a mechanical trip release style bucket) Front end loader is attached but needs hooked up with preferably with new hoses. Comes with a 3 spool hydraulic valve. The bucket will need some welding repairs. The lift arms are SOLID with ZERO slop or sway. ZERO rust or pitting on the cylinder pistons. The power steering works. But it needs a power steering line. The engine starts and runs as it should with no funky noises. But it does smoke some on start up and at idle from time to time. Massey Ferguson 65 Tractor Barn Find No Dents!!! Runs Great!!
Up for sale is a nice straight Massey Ferguson 65. The tractor runs great! This has sat in the barn since 1997 and just got taken out last November. This tractor has 3157 original hours on it at the time of this listing. The second owner kept all of the service records written under the hood. This tractor has the original paint and there is no dents or dings anywhere on the hood or fenders. I put a new water pump in it and the gas tank has been boiled and sealed but will need to be painted. The lights do not work and the left final drive seeps a little oil. There are some parts missing. You get what is there and in the plastic container. Some parts are missing. The tires do stay up however they are not very good. Update. I had someone look at this tractor today, they cleaned the fuel bowl clean the points and it did start and run. the battery used was temporary, it does not go with tractor. Massey Ferguson 65 tractor with Multi Power Tractor was recently painted. Runs great- Engine is smooth and trans shifts solid. Carburetor was recently rebuilt. PTO and 3 point hitch works as it should. Has the rare"Float-O-Matic" seat that I'm told alone. Even in poor shape have sold in the past for big money. Brakes work great. Clutch works well. Things that need attention: The rear wheel rim has split on the right side and will need to be welded. The left rear tire is in poor shape and is losing air. I have an un-mounted used tire that goes with the sale. Bodywork shows normal wear. Dents and scrapes you would expect of a tractor this age. Paint is new, but not show quality by any means.
