$200.000, 174 hp 1990 Brown Bear 300 Tractor-Wheel Loader-Composter with a super low 600 hours.She was municipally owned and saw very little use. Needs a good sandblasting and paint job for the prom. Runs great but trans needs a fix. They pushed it across a parking lot without the engine running which is a no-no with hydrostatic transmissions as you know. As usually happens in those cases it broke a couple of parts and her trans case got cracked. I bought a used case for it but have not gotten around to fixing it. Needs a couple of inexpensive internal parts which commonly shear when pushed-not running. I have contacted Palmer- Johnson an expert nationally known transmission company who will guide your fixing it or can do it for you. A full rebuild is only $5k but for what this needs YOU can DIY for a fraction if you have TIME. Palmer-Johnson ... moresays you just drop the trans and then lay it on its side on a half sheet of plywood bench. Then open the case and remove and replace 2-3 little parts. This was a VERY LOW HOUR machine. This was a $200.000 tractor new so it is a true bargain. I was asking $40,000. You could own the world's best tractor around your farm or a GREAT CONSTRUCTION LOADER! It does not have rear 3-point lift arms or a PTO for rear attachments. Would do a superb job grading with its 9'W bucket. I have a 10' heavy duty root rake available for $5.000 which is NEW, OLD STOCK and would need an adapting quick-connect added to mate to this machine. Then you could clear land if desired. This is an IDEAL loader for sand. Rock, dirt, mulch,etc as it lifts very high for loading tall dump trucks. You can add many attachments by fabricating a quick-attach bracket onto each which mates to the quick-connect already on the machine. It has a quick-attach composter unit which cost about $40.000 if you wanted to turn compost rows or hire it out to large farms to turn rows of compost.
