A nice tilting machinist's vice. 4 inch jaws. 4 inch opening. Vernier scale 0 to 90 degrees, Adjustable 0 stop. A slight amount of surface rust. But honestly not as bad as it looks in the pictures, and doesn't hamper function at all. It's only been used a few times. So there's no wear, and also no abuse damage. $14 is the actual cost of a flat rate box with ebay/paypals cut. From the estate of a skilled gunsmith and up for bids is a neat little machinist's tilting angle vise. Measures approx. 8” long when closed. Jaw width is 2 1/2” as is the opening. Adjusts from zero degrees up to 90 degrees vertical. Has graduated scale on side for precise angle drilling. Bolts on side plates tighten for quick. Secure locking. Angle hinge is graduated from 0º to 90º. Replaceable steel jaw plates. Fixed jaw plate is grooved horizontally and vertically for holding round stock. Lugs in vise base for mounting to machine table. Vise is not marked. But some Craftsman models originally had a vinyl sticker that may have been removed or has fallen off from age. This vise dates to the early 1960's. When high quality tools were still made here in America. Not an imported piece of foreign junk like much of what’s available ... moretoday.
