Offered here is a great lot of vintage MACHINIST'S TOOLS: PARALLEL CLAMPS. GROUND TOOL STEEL PARALLEL LAYOUT BARS/BLOCKS, AND 2 STEEL V-BLOCKS FOR HOLDING WORK. All of these tools are clean and in very fine condition. The one pair of clamps measure around 4 inches by 4 inches and open to about 2 inches wide. The other"C" style clamps are marked number"53" and they can clamp up to 3 inches deep by 1 3/8 inch opening. The parallel bars measure 6 inches long and they come in assorted thicknesses and widths. Some discoloration you see on the steel is from oils and handling stains over the years. Not rust or pitting. The v-blocks measure 2 3/16 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide. Offered are 2 MACHINISTS PARALLEL CLAMPS in a large size. The clamps arms measure 9 1/2" long. 11/16" square, can clamp up to 8" wide, and the knurled heads are 1 1/4" in diameter and 1/2" thick. I believe these are custom made by"JIM STUKEL" as his name is stamped on one arm of each clamp. These seem to be very heavy duty( each clamp weighs 3 1/2 pounds) and professionally made.
