Mori Seiki TV-30 3 axis CNC with tooling, Magnum vise and 8000 RPM spindle
Up for sale is a good running 1995 Mori Seiki TV-30 machining center. It has been a great machine. But we need to move up to something larger. It comes with a chip conveyor with coolant tank. About 30 tool holders, and a 6" Magnum precision vise. Just about everything you need to get up and running! I have all of the Mori Seiki manuals. Along with the Mitsubishi manuals. The control is a MCS-802M. It is made by Mitsubishi and basically a M50 model with a touch screen. The spindle is a BT30 taper and 8000 RPM. They say it is 5/7.5 HP. But it has about the same torque as my Haas with a 15 HP spindle. I think the Mori spindle is a little under rated. The rapids are 1890 IPM. I usually ran it at 50% to reduce wear and tear. The machine comes with a chip conveyor and coolant tank. A 30 gallon bucket fits perfect under the end of the conveyor ... morefor chips. I ran 98% aluminum on it. They say it is a drill tap machine. But it can easily mill. X-Axis Travels 16.5" Y-Axis Travels 11.8" Z-Axis Travels 9.8" 10 station tool changer. I think I have pretty much have all of the info on this machine.
