I'm really not sure what this is. I believe it is called an angle plate or angle block. It is made of two heavy steel plates held together by a heavy duty hinge mechanism. One plate has a diamond pattern cut onto the surface. The other has Threaded holes throughout. Total weight is 5 pounds& 8.5 ounces. It is engraved with the previous owner's name. There is some random rust residue, especially in and around some of the threaded holes. I'm pretty sure these are made of Stainless Steel, so the rust is probably from being stored against something else. Please excuse my lack of knowledge about this. This is a high precision universal angle plate with 360 degree swivel base. The top plate will angle 90 degrees plus an additional 30 degrees in the opposite direction. This is a very well manufactured model made in Japan. The top plate is 8" long x 6" wide with 3 T-slots. It is 6" tall from the bottom of the mounting plate to top of the table. The base is 10-1/4" wide. And it is 10" long from the handle to the front of the table. The original handle is not included, but a ratchet handle is included. It has very little staining due to the packing grease. I would rate it a nine. I could not get the lighting right to show how good this plate looks. The height of this table is approximately the same height of the tablets with a single axis( this table has two axes: vertical axis up to 90 degrees and horizontal axis up to 360 degrees) This looks nearly new YUASA Universal Adjustable Angle Plate(there is no warranty with this item) and has the specifications as listed below. This is an 6 x 4 table. Possible incline 90 degrees right or 30 degrees left by worm gear adjustment, base is graduated up to +/ 180 degree(+/ 90 degrees) base swivels 360 degrees, flatness ... moreto table.0006" parallelism to table surface to underside.0006, plane running of inclined table surface to underside.0006" This table will withstand forces from heavy milling cuts and drilling. This table can be used to provide as a fifth axis, etc. This is the only table of this type that will do 90 degrees vertically versus up to 45 degrees on the other brands. Bolt a plate to the table and extend it to make a large table. Bolt a webbed angle plate, possibilties are endless. This type of table is hard to come by. This plate will accept accessories and work pieces larger than its working area. I can not locate the handle but will ship a right angle dog that works very well. An example of a setup is below. If you want to make good parts you need to start with good equipment. Why buy cheap equipment now just to buy quality equipment later. Save yourself some money, and buy good equipment now.
