In Good used Condition for the age and years of service/storage/use. All seems to work/adjust/move/thread fine. Once the side nuts are loosened the vise opens/closes smooth. May need a detailed cleaning which I did not do myself. Afraid of damage. No issues other than some minor wear. Dirt, grime, metal shavings. from usage/storage. The length of the vise minus the threaded handle- 8 1/2" The height of the vise is 3 1/2" tall The threaded handle is 5 3/8" long. I see no chips or cracks on this piece! The cigarette holder corners are done in gold and the rope that the Cowboy is using is also in gold. This Ashtray appears to be in unused condition! Vintage Palmgren No. 400 milling attachment for metal lathe
I got this milling attachment in a box of"accessories" for an old lathe I recently purchased. It's way too big for me to use. But it appears to be in very nice condition. I wiped the worst of the grime away and put some oil on it, but it might benefit from a more thorough cleaning. All the numbers are clearly readable. Everything moves smoothly, although there is some discoloration due to years of sitting around unused.

Vintage No.5? Palmgren Machinist Drill Press Vise-Jaws 1 1/2" W/1" D/1 5/8" Open
You are bidding on a vintage No. 5? Palmgren machinists drill press vise. It is approximately 4 3/4" overall with the jaws closed and 1 13/16" tall at the jaws. The jaws are approximately 1 1/2" wide x 1" deep x 1 5/8" full open. I believe this is a No. 5 from checking the dimensions against some other No. 5 vises. It looks to be in very good used condition in my opinion. The bottom has writing etched into it. There are a few minor scratches dings. Dents, finger prints and stains. The close-up pictures are the best description of the overall condition, but if more information is required please e-mail prior to bidding. Vintage Palmgren mill milling slide attach for south bend, Atlas or Logan #250
Older Palmgren made in US milling slide attachment. In great shape with original paint and decals(if ya care) The screws are in good shape. The jaws have a few oops marks but nothing major, and all the dials and swivels are easy to read. The guy I got my lathe from obviously cared about this thing since it is super shiny. But I have a mill so I have never used it. It should fit most smaller lathes like South Bend 9" or 10k. As well as Atlas or craftsman, Logan, etc. What you see is what you get. Vintage Palmgren work hold pivoting vice w/ unusual bench mount clamp Great tool
I have for auction this Vintage Palmgren machinist work holding vice. It is in very nice Used condition. It is clean and ready to be put back to work. The vise is a small model XO It has a maximum opening of 1 1/2' The jaws are 1 1/2' wide as well. It has a few scratches on the inside part of the jaws and a few small cut scratches on the top of the stationary jaw. There is no drill thru marks on the ways of the vise. and none on the jaws. Everything is working as it should. there is a partial palmgren label on the tool. That tells me that it hasn't seen much use. The last thing of note is the bench top mounting clamp. Never seen it before. It is marked Palmgren. It is made of aluminum and in great used condition.
