It also has the sine plate assembly that it is bolted to underneath. This is compatible with the S1 series of sine made accessories and the sine plates that bolt directly together without clamps. This is a 6 inch by 6 inch Suburban magnetic chuck that is bolted to the Suburban sine plate with rails as you can see. NICE TOOLMAKER MADE 2 1/2 INCH SINE BAR: This item is a nice Toolmaker made hardened and ground 2& 1/2 inch Sine Bar. It is 1/2 inch thick X 1 inch wide X 4 5/8 inches long. It is an unusual design for me. I had not seen a 2 1/2 inch sine bar with an extended work supporting length like this. I guess it would come in handy if you are using a narrow grinding vise and your work piece is longer and would be supported better. It has a removable stop and the rolls are narrower than the base for clamping. It is in very nice condition. And there are no names or initials on it. It does have a little bit of mild surface stains on the top from having a plate attached to it but nothing that will affect the accuracy. Also some minor surface rust stains on the bottom. As you can see the rolls are in excellent condition. Also included are the screws for mounting rails on the side. I do have one end rail and a soft mounting plate that goes on top that is made out of steel. This is a nice. Quality Sine Plate that has very little use. Precision sine bar MOORE & WRIGHT square & 1-2-3 blocks- EXCELLENT!
Precision inspection tools Here is a trio of high quality inspection tools. I got these out of a professional toolmakers chest from right here in the Motor City. 1) 5" Hardened and ground sine bar. 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" I checked parallelism and I got no more than plus.0001" Does have the creators name stamped on side. Nothing a carbide endmill could not remove. Has two tapped holes on one end for plate. 2) 1-2-3" blocks. Not sure of the maker but they appear high quality. They are hardened and ground and are the most common 3/8 through holes with 5 of them tapped. They are coated in cosmoline and wrapped in plastic wrap. I checked sizes with micrometers and they are right on sizewise. Did NOT clean off to check parallel but I assume they are very good. NO RUST. ABUSE or OWNER ENGRAVINGS. Original US Vietnam Special Forces Airborne Sine Pari Wool Green Beret W/ Patch
This is an auction for an Original US Vietnam Special Forces Airborne Sine Pari Wool Green Beret W/ Oval Patch. Master Jump Wings, and SINE PARI(without equal) pin. The overall condition of this extremely rare beret is good. The liner has been removed, which was common for Special Forces troops to do in Vietnam, because of the intense heat experienced there. The adjustment string is missing from the head band. There are no rips, tears, or holes at all. The oval patch, master jump wings, and SINE PARI pin are all original to the beret and are in great shape, with the oval patch looking like that it was removed off of a uniform. This is an excellent and extremely rare and hard to find beret. It is an amazing piece of history and just imagine the kind of stories that it could tell if it could talk.
