This listing is for a very nice Machinist's Vise FAST PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING! It Has An Auxiliary Handle To Aid In Precise Positioning On The Machine Tool There Is Also A Series Of Three Tapped Holes In The Base For Secure Mounting To The Drill or Mill Table The Jaws Are Standard Size& Replaceable They Have Vee Grooves(V-Grooved) For Holding Round Objects I was told by the seller that this vise is vintage. She said it was her father's and he had it since she lived at home. She is in her 60's. So that's quite a while. If it is that'antique' The tool is in remarkable condition, as explained below& in the photos. SOME FEATURES- There is a unique auxiliary handle to aid in positioning of this vise. It has a hammer style grip by Hunt Wilde(They are best known for top quality bicycle handle bar grips. The handle ... moreis 6 inches long& easy to grab& hold. It can be removed if the pin that locks it is extracted or drilled out. The Jaws are removable& replaceable. They have vee grooves. As seen in the photos The jaws are standard size to accept jaw caps& alternate style jaw pads. Hint- Instead of buying the magnetic rubber jaw caps. Go to the local print shop& get a scrap of magnetic vinyl stuff they make truck signs out of. It is fairly thick& cushions delicate parts very well. The base has 3 tapped holes to facilitate mounting on a drill press table of other fixture. They are tapped 5/16- 18. The moveable jaw's carriage glides along ground flat ways. It works very smoothly CONDITION NOTES- This vise is in very good to excellent condition. I found no rust on the tool. The jaws line up very parallel& have a slight leeway to swivel for imprecise objects. The screws holding the replaceable jaws are not seized. There is a Bit-Kiss on the vise's flat way about 1/2 the distance between jaws(Please see photos) There are small nicks on this vise in various places. See photos. No nicks are in areas which will affect work holding or operation. They are merely cosmetic.

Old Original Cast Iron Crosscut Saw Blade Sharpener Vise Clamp Mill Steam Engine
This is a real neat original cast iron clamp or vise to hold a saw blade for sharpening. It was commonly used for two man crosscut saws or ice saws but could also be used for other blades. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and everything on it works as it should. It has an ornate handle on the screw to clamp it to a bench or table top. MACHINING DRILL MILL SWIVEL MACHINIST VISE
Graingers Dayton brand. Part number 3W765 swivel vise in very good condition. Vise is tight with absolutely no slop or play, hardened jaws and swivels 360 degrees with 001" increment scale. The only reason I don't consider this vise in excellent condition is because of the few small drill through holes shown in the listing photo. Overall a very nice vise.
