The parts are fitted together with a tight tolerance. Hardly any play between body and shell. SMW AUTOBLOCK 10 INCH AIR CHUCK MILL LATHE
This auction is for a SMW AUTOBLOCK AIR CHUCK in good used condition. I bought a mill that had two of these chucks on it. They are in good condition. It had a air over hydraulic system on it. The chuck is in excellent condition as seen in pics. There is some minor surface rust here and there on it. The bottom unit is in good working condition there is rust as seen in pictures, its only on the outside. I took apart the bottom assembly there was no rust. The main plunger looked good and the seal(triple seal) all of them looked good. Top plate inside plunger and rear seal. Reassembled it with lucas x-tra heavy duty grease on all seals and all inside surfaces. I do not know the max pressure for this chuck assembly. This item will be shipped in two packages.
