Burnerd 'Multi-Size' D-6 Spindle Mount Collet Chuck with collets, 1/4" - 2"
A local company is in the process of re-locating its machine shops and maintenance department. As a result. Any unused, obsolete, surplus, or duplicate machines and accessories will be disposed of. As the equipment is released for disposition the items will be offered for sale. I will do my best to provide an accurate description but sale is final, so please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Offered here is a Burnerd'Multi-Size' Spindle Mount Collet Chuck. Type LC-20. The chuck has a D1-6 Cam Lock Mount and comes with the assortment of collets shown in the picture. The collets range from 1/4" to 2" capacity and many of them appear to be new or used very little. They have been stored in the original cardboard storage tubes. The storage tubes have collected some dirt and grime as a result of sitting in storage ... morebut the collets look to have been well protected. There are 13 collets in all, and after laying them out in size order it looks like the 3/8" to 1/2" collet is missing. I am pretty sure(but not 100% certain) that the remaining collets comprise the rest of the set. I am not sure which lathe this was used on, but it should be suitable for use on most tool room lathes that have a D1-6 cam lock spindle nose. The picture shows everything just as it came off the shelf in the tool room. A quick cleaning might be in order, and everything looks to be in good condition. This set is quite expensive new, so if you have a need for such a collet attachment I think that this should be a good buy.

Probably incurred during storage. The chuck jaws show no signs of wear. Nor do the spindle mount threads. The chuck may be unused. Or has perhaps had very light use.
