Jaws & Master Jaws for 8" Pratt Burnerd Power Chuck
Lot of steel jaws. Master jaws and corresponding tee nuts(10mm bolts required) for 8” 3-Jaw Pratt Burnerd power chuck. Master jaw slot width is.630” Height is 1.525” width at base is 2.25” width on neck is 1.5” with 60° serrations. The steel jaws come in various sizes but all fit perfectly to the master jaws. The tee nuts are used to secure the steel jaws to the master jaws and require 10mm bolts to adjoin the two. We sold our CNC lathe that had this chuck and now are parting ways with these parts we can no longer use. This is a lot sale so please keep this in mind when bidding. Will not ship parts separately. I have changed the shipping amount on this listing since I have learned the lathe weighs more than 200 lb and that is with out all the accessories which combined may be worth as much as the lathe. the total weigh could be near 300 lbs. A tool junkies delight. Those of us who have learned their Home Shop Machining thru those great British and English Books which teach and make Metal Machining so clear. Like Sparey's Amateur's Lathe and Ian Bradley's the Amateur's Workshop will always have a soft spot for a Myford Lathe; here is a chance to own one which is State side(i.e. America) I bought it many years back for emotional reasons and because I learn by buying a tool and having it to touch. Here is a Burnerd 4 jaw 10" O/D with a thin body 2" 685 thou thick that's just the body not back plate and jaws.I believe it is L00 back plate there is some turn marks at the through hole and will need some cleaning/ oiling but otherwise is in good condition.it the thread on the back plate measures 3-1/2 X 6 TPI outside thread.the taper at the wide end is 2"272 thou I don't have the key but looks like 5/16 chuck key. I have many south bend lathe parts and lathe tolling mostly for the larger south bend lathe if you need something please ask.This is being sold in as is condition shipping is for the US only unless other arrangements have been made if you have any questions please ask.

Originally purchased for a Clausing Colchester 13" tool room lathe. This chuck was used very. Very little as it was owned by a hobbyist. The bracket fits a the afore mentioned lathe, and YMMV, but that is a fairly simple piece to fabricate. A nearly pristine set of collets is for sale separately. Sold AS-IS. Thanks for looking.
