It emits very little noise, and it shows no warning signs of any sort of motor wear. Although the specific capacity values remain unknown, we estimate it's weight to be around 750 pounds, and it's build date to be in the 1940's. I bought this a couple years ago and never got around to using it. I didn't have the cables for it and never got them. So I don't know if it works, so you are buying it as it is, working or not. It has a thick steel plate bolted on the bottom that I don't think is factory. I can remove it if you like, for cheaper shipping.12 volt, model 8000. Winch probably weighs about 60 pounds or more.
