Used My-Te capstan winch. Unit has been repainted looks decent but has a few drips scratches ect. Gearboxes have been flushed and refilled with a gearbox grease that is less likely to leak out or run out the vent if it tips over in your truck. Has 3 way toggle switch under control box and outlet for remote. No remote included. Tested and runs with no noise that I would consider out of the ordinary. Pulls 20 amps when running and I can load it with my hands to about 25amps. To the best of my knowledge there should be no issues with this since it is a used piece of equipment it is selling as is. It appears to have never been used beyond winding the cable on it. I don't know how much cable is on it. The cable appears to be 3/16" in dia. and it hard to tell how much it carries. I'd say at least 75' maybe lots more than that. I don't think it stainless steel cable but the thimble appears as to be S.S. The outer layer is about 16" per turn. It's a lovely small winch. This is a working Holmes winch with a good cable. I was planning to use it on a project. But probably never will, so i'm selling it. It was mounted in the bed(to the frame) of a 3/4 ton truck& driven off a PTO from the transmission. I was planning to mount a small gasoline powered engine to it, then have a portable winch. I was thinking that if I went somewhere to pick up something heavy with my trailer, i could take this with me to get it up on the trailer or even mount it to the gooseneck of a gooseneck trailer. Anyway, it's in good condition. It has a lever to make it travel slowly in either direction, then another lever to disengage the drum in order to pull the cable out by hand. Local pickup only. We hooked power to it to make sure it was working but did not pull anything because it is not mounted to anything to do that. I have no clue how many pound or tons the winch is but it has to be up there it is very big and very heavy. It has some great accessories on it also. Item Description This is a used Tusla Winch that was removed from one of our wreckers a while ago. The dimensions are as follows: drum diameter 14" and 15.5" wide. The overall dimensions are 42" wide. 20.5" tall, 19" deep. It weighs about 300 pounds. There is about a 1/8 turn of play before it engages. There is one tooth on the gear that is chipped and you can see it in the last picture. The overall condition of this winch is in good shape for its age.
