You are bidding on a surplus winch by B B Brothers. This winch comes with the cable on it and will arrive exactly like you see it here in these photos. It has a 5 Ton capacity and an electric motor by Dayton. The cable is 3/8" diameter although it was never stretched out to see what kind of length it has. This winch has been tested and runs good. The motor is a Dayton 1 HP motor with 1725 RPM. The model is 6K674F. It works on a standard 110 V Plug. The Drum is 8" wide and approximately 3 1/2" Deep but its hard to tell without having to spool all of the cable off the drum. It has a forward and reverse lever and brake on it. Beebe Bros. Inc. 1 Ton Hand Winch W/Cable. Marked A-1, Other Marks: PD10& A-2. Condition is Great. Not that there is no handle. See the photos. It appears to have never been used beyond winding the cable on it. I don't know how much cable is on it. The cable appears to be 3/16" in dia. and it hard to tell how much it carries. I'd say at least 75' maybe lots more than that. I don't think it stainless steel cable but the thimble appears as to be S.S. The outer layer is about 16" per turn. It's a lovely small winch. Make much like the much larger ones. If you are nearby you are welcomed to pick it up here without and shipping costs. Questions are welcomed.

This great winch is apparently much sought after for marine use. Was acquired from the estate of a local machinist. Appears new, new cable on spool, has what I believe is a morse taper ready for a power source, mounted on a very heavy duty steel frame with adjusting screws. Beebe 5 ton manual 2 speed industrial winch with hand brake and includes the crank handle. Inside of spool measures 12 inches across and the diameter is 12 inches. This winch operates well and does not seem to have been used very much. All the grease fitings accepted grease easily and the bearing/ bushings show very little play. It appears like the A shaped stay bracket on the tail end of the spool is slightly bent but it does not affect how it operates. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states.
