Comes with about 50' of steel 1/4" cable, I did notice when I measured how much cable was on the spool that some of the cable has been pinch against the side of the winch and this had changed the shape of the cable. Regardless on what the winch is going to be used for, the buyer is responsible for checking out the cable before-hand and making their on decision. There is a lot of cable so a person could remove any damaged cable and still have a lot of cable. Just wanted to mention this so the buyer could be aware. Also comes with a hook.
