This winch operated fine the day I removed it from the back of the South Western Bell digger derrick. I removed this winch about a year ago. It was primarily used for pulling underground cable. By the serial number. I believe it was manufactured in 1984. It has 3 speeds, low, high, and reverse. It also has level wind. The steel winch line is available at no extra charge. DP 20K lbs Millitary-Style Hydraulic bumper winch..*Fresh Rebiuld*
This is a DP 20K lbs military style bumper winch with Capstan extension. I just went through it and put all new seals. O-rings, bushings, shift collar and everything else that were below factory specifications. It has a new Eaton hydraulic motor on it also. I have rebuilt probably 40-50 of these and this 1 was in the best pre-rebuild condition than most of the others I've rebuilt. It does NOT have any cable with it.it comes exactly as in the pics as this is the exact winch for sell. It weighs about 350 pounds and will have to be shipped by LTL freight. I would also let you pick it up locally or be glad to meet ya with it within a reasonable distance. I also have 2 more of these to rebuild if you're interested in more than 1.
