Up for auction is a nice used Shimano Custom GT Plus GT 2000 spinning reel. It was made in Japan and is so marked on the foot. It has the"Fightin Drag" system. The reel is used. But in very good condition. The graphics and tape/decals all look good except for some wear on the stem. The reel is set up for a left hander now, but can easily be changed over for right hand use. The reels weighs 8.4 ounces. The spool holds 180 yards of 6 pound, 140 yards of 8 pound and 105 yards of 10 pound test line. The gear ratio is not shown on the reel but it looks to be about 5.2:1. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the cosmetic condition of this reel. Mechanically, the reel is in good working order. The action is super smooth and the drag and anti reverse mechanisms work fine. The bail is strong. This is a vintage Shimano Triton Baitrunner 3500 Plus. This is the second of 2 that i had. The other one sold last week. This one is used and in absolute perfect working condition. It reels super smooth. Reel handle and reel handle knob rotate smoothly, drag tightens and loosens good, bail flips over cleanly, live bait runner feature works perfect, anti-reverse is perfect, and the drag clicker sounds good.
