This Daiwa Silvercast 208RL spincast fishing reel is well loved but still has the box and all the paperwork that came with it. The box came apart on one side so it had been taped. Over the years the tape had dried out so I was able to remove it but there is still markings on the bottom of the box. This item is a vintage used Daiwa silvercst 208rl spin cast reel Made in Korea. This reel has been cleaned and lubed.With new 8 lb. test bass pro excel line. Some of the features of this reel are as follows. Has a drag located in front of the thumb lever that is used for casting,anti reverse located above the crank handle,also you can reverse the crank handle to the other side if desired. The reel is in good condition and i mounted it on a rod and cast it,these reels always cast very good,gear ratio 1:4.1,the body and front cover is metal of some sorts and only shows normal wear for its age but nothing that hinders its performance and all worked good. Also the lube i use on all the reels that i clean and lube is Blakemore real magic reel lube synthetic formula and is sold at Bass Pro Shop.
